Comments on: MTC Updates!

I have a USB port wireless modem which i use when i travel to different countries, last time when i was in Kuwait i used watanyia and got it working the apn number being “action.wataniya.com but this time I could not get the apn number from MTC Vodaphone no one was helpfull, will some one help me out.

Letoubib: the best way to get out of this is to contact fono on khaled bin waleed street. they were the only ones thata could help you.

MTC just launched 3g and HSDPA.

* Up to 286.4 kbps under EDGE coverage.
* Up to 384 kbps under 3G/UMTS coverage.
* Up to 1.8 Mbps under HSDPA coverage.

* For the 2G coverage:
o APN : pps
o User Name : hspps
o Password : hspps
* For the 3G Coverage:
o APN : hspps
o User Name : hspps
o Password : hspps

well hopefully the telecom feild gets opened up so that competition gets a little rougher for the current operators and they provide better service
