I used to read comic books back in the day. I remember I used to have so many they were spilling out of the drawers! Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Dark Horse, and a lot of the other ones. I used to have every comic book in a plastic wrap with a cardboard back protection. I really loved my comics, and I used to have all the issues. I was even made that I gave them all away, but I had the first issue of Spawn that I remember picking up the first issue of Spawn #1 in mint condition from a New York Comic book store on the summer of 1994. All these drawings had so much life, and that is why I love anime so much. I still know these comic book characters and how they were, their personality. Its as if I know them personally. So I love watching comic books turned into movies and especially when a good job was done. So now there are a bunch of comic book movies coming out after the success of Spiderman and X-Men. These big companies realized that they really have to pick actors that match the characters of the comic book not the other way around. They also figured out that they need to have a very good story line with a fantastic script because the audience is very demanding which Im happy they know now. Hopefully they keep making more good movies.

GHOST RIDER was supposed to be released this August and was delayed for some reason.
WONDER WOMAN is in development and yes Joss Whedon will direct from his script.
THE DARK KNIGHT will feature the origin of the Joker and might include Harvey Dent (Two Face). It will be Frank Miller inspired: dark, brutal and complex. The film will be directed by Chris Nolan. Regulars Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman will return.

SUPERMAN RETURNS sputtered to $200 million in the U.S. (it’s regarded as a financial dissapointment) but WB said they might make another one and make it cheaper, with more action and heroics.
I liked the credits sequence in SUPERMAN RETURNS, the John Williams music was back, Marlon Brando and the 747 action setpiece but overall the film was too touchy feely, angst ridden and not enough heroics. Maybe they will get it right next time.
Like SUPERMAN RETURNS the first Hulk also alienated a lot of mainstream audiences by its deadly serious father-son arc and the tragic backstory and lack of action. There is another Hulk movie. This one will also avoid the mistakes the first one made. The new flick will be called THE INCREDIBLE HULK and be action oriented. More “Hulk smash!” and less angst and psychobable.

Hello, I was just wondering if there may be a possible “The Incredibles #2″ might be in the works or not. It is one of my most favorite movies and I hope they come out with the next chapter. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank’s.
