Review: Tumi Universal Adapter Kit
I picked this up from Tumi in London about four months ago now, and I have to say I’m extremely happy with it. At first I thought I could use it for different laptops, and maybe a phone. It was a little steep in price but I didn’t mind it too much since I knew I was going to make use of it. And now since my original power adapter burnt out it is what I am using, and I wish I used it before since it is so good.
Positives:
- Very Slim
- Universal (120V/240V)
- Plugs for Europe, Asia, and US
- Tips for:
- Toshiba
- IBM
- Compaq
- Panasonic
- Hitachi
- Acer
- Fujitsu-Seimans
- Sony
- Blackberry
- Motorola
- USB (Small Side)
Negatives:
- A bit pricey

I think you got ripped off! Admittedly, TUMI does sell high-end products, but this small
kit is obviously OEM’d by another company. I bought an identical looking kit (with a
SENDEX – Made in Japan label) in Akihabara/Tokyo for the equivalent of $US 26!

it’s Fujitsu-Siemens not Siemans

this looks like a pretty useful tool to have while traveling….having to take one adapter instead of 5….

docxray: your maybe right that its rebranded but I don’t have access ot the items in the Japanese market, I have to say that I am happy with it!
G-Funk: lol! Will be fixed!
Muh’d M. Mansour: Its really good!
Eddy: exactly, it covers a lot of machines and its extremely thin! I don’t know why companies don’t make them like this!
