Now this is good news, two of my favorite game developers of all time are going to merge. I’m not sure of the technical details of the merger or the exact value, all I keep thinking about is the quality of games they will be able to come up with because these two game companies have been consistent over the years. I wonder what they are going to come up with next, I’m really waiting for StarCraft II.

Heh.
Don’t expect anything exciting here. Blizzard is stuck servicing WOW and making star craft 2 the next big Korean thing.
Activision has been heamorghing money for years without any good titles.

It won’t make any difference when it comes to the titles currently in development I don’t think, but it will mean that starcraft may benefit from some of activsions excellent gaming engines. which they seem to have kept close-sourced.

Nothing good came out of the Squaresoft-Enix merge, all that people have been saying after their merge is RIP Squaresoft.
