Was Off

Its always nice to disconnect when going on a vacation, and towards the last minute I was running around finishing stuff and making sure that I had the medicine that I needed. Went to Dubai for a few very fun days and stayed at the Atlantis, and that experience is one hell of a story. The first day and a half of Eid was with the family and the rest was in Dubai. Practically everyone was in Dubai and we just kept saying hello to people on the plane and at the hotel. I remember now why I don’t like traveling during Eid, and in Dubai the traffic was insane.

    Dubai’s traffic is crazy regardless! during the holidays and otherwise. Hope this new metro will solve their traffic problems. Was the Atlantis worht it?

    Please give us your review of the “The Atlantis” … I’m booked in for Dec08 but all the reviews I’ve read online are mostly -ve which is such a shame as I was looking forward to having a great time there.

    Dec is a coupla months away so hopefully the initial teething problems will be worked out by then :)

    I knew something was off and unusual in the blogosphere; your absence was absolutely noticeable. And I also kinda knew you were vacationing in Dubai for the Eid. Anyway, 7amdellah 3al salamah. It’s good to have you back, and certainly cannot wait to read about your Dubai-related entries.
