With MobileMe and the iphone you'll never loose it contacts ever with the use of live data sync over the air , and push contacts . I guess this would be one more reason for you to switch to the iPhone.

That's pretty crazy that you dropped it riding up that hill man. It reminds me of this one time I dropped my phone in a bucket of ice, it sucked, I couldn't get it to work either. So are you gonna stick with the same phone or switch it up to a different sony ericsson????

Marzouq, last time something similar happened to me, like my phone once fall into a hole in the middle of the street, I've put it in a plastic bag, went back home, took the battery off and put both the phone and the battery in a bowl full of rice, kept it there for 2 days, and it amazingly worked, keypad was hard to use though.

I believe that rice could suck out a great amount of humidity.

When you got to the part where the phone was sliding down the hill while it was raining I was hoping for "and then, someone picked it up, I couldn't see his face but he had an axe in his hand" my God just imagine that, and you're still wearing your helmet, and it's dark, dramatic scene, hell yes.
