I am sorry I have been calling Kuwait since saturday and all circuits are busy and dont understand why??? are you talking abt the lines in Kuwait or the cell phone company there???

Yeah I just got back from Dubai too, network was terrible throughout the 3 days I spent, I switched my network to ‘du’ and some outgoing calls started going through fine, but I remember reading somewhere in Dubai when I got there that Etisilat was going through maintenance and that we are expected to run into network problems.

no the prob is from kwt…cuz relatives tried to call me from LA and i get a land number wen i get the call..and also from cairo and dubai isalways buzy or no-network..i guess kwt is the prob..and not just zain..also watania

i think this problem was caused by fog (fiber line) in the gcc was cut near dubai even the inter net is slower in kuwait

Yup, we had the same problem last time we were in dubai. Our mobiles didnt work till the next morning (12 hrs after arrival)..it was good that our captain had a WATANIYA line..which worked perfectly!
