Best Movies in 2008

There were a lot of memorable movies in 2008, but here is the list of my favorites. Some are intricate intense movies, and a few were just pure unadulterated action. I think I watched Tropic Thunder about 15 to 20 times, I don’t care what anyone thinks, that is probably the funniest movie I have seen in a long time, Robert Downey Jr and Tom Cruise were great in it.

Intense:

  • The Dark Knight
  • Iron Man
  • Eagle Eye
  • Traitor
  • Death Race

Comedy:

  • Tropic Thunder
  • Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay
  • Kung Fu Panda
  • Forgetting Sarah Marshall
  • You Don’t Mess With Zohan

Asian Movies:

  • Red Cliff
  • Ip Man

    I think you dont mess with the zohan was the first movie that actually offended me, but i still laughed at it.

    Forgetting Sarah Marshall is one of the best comedies i have seen in a loooong time!

    sorry 2 say that, but
    “Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay” was the worst movie I had ever seen in my life

    - Slumdog Millionaire
    - Doubt
    - Cloverfield
    - Wall-E
    - Seven Pounds

    I’m waiting to see The Curious Case of benjamin Button to see if it goes into the list or not. Sad year of movies :/

    I am embarrassed that you would put Death Race on a list containing such great movies as The Dark Knight, & Iron Man. Q80 in Denver’s list is much better.
