What happens if I never got a card?

I got in on a flight from JFK ~2 weeks ago and I never gave them anything at passport control and they didn’t say anything.

@Ray J – I would like to correct that, it was the Kuwaiti woman who was arguiing but the Egyptian man who did the test without questions, so its the other way around!

My friend who came back from the states actually had a messed up situation due to this swine flu thangg. She came in on a thursday late night, so we decided to go friday. Get to salmiya clinic and the guy says its only until 12 pm on weekdays. Thing was, she was leaving Saturday to Syria for 2 weeks. Freaking out that the airport officials wouldn’t let her throught if they saw she didn’t do it, my mom and I had to wait around til we saw her go through fine.
She comes back from Syria and gets another card to check. We go to Salmiya again and they ask where I live. So I said Shuhadaa, and they looked at me, but it was 11:59 and I think they felt sorry for us. They asked for her civil i.d., but she’s American. They looked so confused! Anyways they ended up doing it in 30 secs too.

Overall, I don’t think they even check “the book” that has all the names in it. They just say the fine and jail thing to scare you haha..
