HP 5101 on The Way
I ordered the HP 5101 netbook about three weeks ago with some high specifications and at last it has shipping out of HP, it took a little longer because I customized it.

- NetBook 5101
- CPU Intel Atom N280
- XP Home
- LCD 10.1 HD Wide Screen
- WEBCAM Integrated 2MP
- Ram: 1G 800DDR2
- HD: SSD 128G 5101
- WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n
- Bluetooth 2.1
- WWAN UNDP
- 6 Cell Battery
After the mistake HP made with the Via chip, I’m happy they went with the Intel Atom chips which are much faster. What I found surprising is that it only comes with XP Home, so I ordered the separate 2 GB ram stick and I will format and install XP Pro right away, then download the necessary drivers to use all the hardware on it. Now I’m getting anxious to get the laptop, nothing better then setting up new hardware.

Congratulations! Nice to have a new toy, I like it, too!
I have one question: Does the 6 cell battery protrude? I know other netbooks (like DELL) where the small battery’s embedded but the big battery protrude.
