I lost a bunch of tips myself over the years, the Bose stores in the States used to give free replacements but now they started charging.

The bose are ok. If you really want great in ear performance try the Shure 530 or the klipsch x10. These will play louder with deeper base, better sound proofing. Because they sit deep in the ear cannal you will not even know they are there. like you i am on a plane 10-20 hours a week so i have tried every headphone on the market. Keep writing this blog its the best!!!
