Review: Sengoku Basara

Plot Summary: In the bloody Warring States period of feudal Japan, many generals fought in an endless struggle for power, but one man proved to be too big a threat – The dark lord Oda Nobunaga. Sanada Yukimura and Date Masamune, two young warriors from different regions who become heated rivals, begin to form an unlikely alliance with the rest of the generals to take down the Devil King.

Its rare for an anime to pull you in from the first episode, and that is what Sengoku Basara did to me, it pulled me right in and I knew which characters I liked and which I didn’t. I hated Oda Nobunaga from the onset, I didn’t expect it to be this good, so much struggle so much passion in all these fighters it gets me worked up. At certain points I’m about to jump and hit my screen, such amazing characters with the perfect amount of action an anime really that should be watched with a colorful history.

    Hala Marzouq,

I’m kind of a newcomer to the anime/manga scene and I’m more into the seinen genre than shounen. I enjoyed Black Lagoon, Blade of the Immortal and Ghost in the Shell. As you can see however, I’m watching shows that have already ended some time ago.

I’ve been wanting to ask you for some time about the RSS feeds that you use to download your episodes. I’m hoping that at least this way I might be able to watch current shows. That way I could choose which ones I enjoy and follow them. Can you please help me with this?

Thanks and enjoy your new show :)
