Review: Man Of Steel

MAN OF STEEL

A young itinerant worker is forced to confront his secret extraterrestrial heritage when Earth is invaded by members of his race.

MAN OF STEEL

Zack Snyder tried to do something different with this Superman movie, and Henry Cavil played a pretty damn good Superman. The movie turned out to be better then I expected, I heard it got some very good reviews and I heard from some people they didn’t like it, but I honestly enjoyed it. Kevin Costner was pointless in the movie in my opinion, he didn’t fit as the father from Kansas, they should have brought the guy from Smallville the TV Show. Its a bit of a slow start but ZOD is awesome, he is the perfect bad guy in my opinion and the fight scene was fantastic. The darker tone to the movie was a good fit, and I hope that they make another one after this.

  1. I like it a lot too. I wasn’t eager to watch it at all, but then it was the only choice at the movies when I went. It surprised me. It’s made for older audiences, has a very new and fresh storyline, something that was very unexpected from a story that’s been told to the moon and back.

I honestly liked it a lot, and can’t wait for the next 2 movies.

  2. @Buzfairy – Exactly, I liked that the story was fresh, and I’m looking forward to the upcoming movies when they come out!

  3. It felt like I was watching a stereotypical Nolan movie. Dark and extravagant. The soundtrack was excellent. Surely waiting for the upcoming movies.

  4. The only part that felt too much was the fighting scene in the end, it just kept on going and felt too long for the movie, otherwise I enjoyed the rest.

Was happy that I got to watch it in NYC :D

  5. @Footy Techy Foody – Exactly, they went for a Dark track for Superman, not the happy Superman! I liked where they took this and looking forward to the next!

@Jacqui – I loved that fight scene! It was Superman trying not to kill with his powers! It was fantastic! Every movie is great in NYC! lol
