Since opening in Kuwait I have been to Office Depot a few times, its not 10% of the size of the Office Depots I have seen in the states but its a good change to have inside the Mall. Its come to the point where Avenues is majority clothing or food and not much else, but Office Depot is a refreshing change and I wanted to pass by to pick up some post its and paper since I was heading to the Avenues in the first place.

Its good they have a nice selection of printers, with Brothers being the one with the most features and more reasonable pricing. I like how they have a huge selection of paper and the different kinds of packaging and folders that you can have, I picked up an expandable plastic folder to use to organize my bills and other paper work. I can’t resist looking at USBs and external hard drives and they had a nice selection. Another part of the store that I really like is the pen and pencil section, I’m very particular about pens and pencils, I like to have ones which have a certain amount of ink when used on paper and how it feels. Then there was the calculator section which reminded me of my old scientific calculator and having to store formulas in the memory and all. Overall there should be a few different stores within the mall and its desperately needing a change, maybe a big book store would really help.

Each F1 team has a Watch line, such as Ferrari has Panerai and McLaren has TAG Heuer, and it shouldn’t be any different for the leading team in F1. Brawn GP has teamed up with Graham from London to come up with a few unique pieces which match the team’s neon yellow accents and a very sporty look.

I’m a huge fan of Graham watches, since they have a very solid feel. I have a Chronofighter and it is a very solid watch which looks good and is still very rugged. Now they are making two lines for Brawn GP, one is the Chronofighter line and the other is the Silverstone, both will be 47mm steel cases which is pretty big and they are limited to 250 units. I haven’t seen the pricing for it yet, but I’m hoping for something reasonable.

I always liked the design of BRM watches but recently I managed to check out a few, and I was surprised at the lack of quality of the straps. I still like the design but very disappointed with the quality, usually a watch maker chooses a nice plastic or leather strap to complement the watch, but their straps are very rigid and feel cheap.

The movement is floating inside the case with a rigid axis holding it in place. Its an interesting piece from BRM, the W44 id going for 4050€ and the W50 model for 4650€.

Now this is a fresh look to a normal product, there are so many types of pictures frames it rare to see something new. This is the Corner frame from Photojojo, you can put all sizes of pictures in it. I think it just presents them so uniquely, it holds 12 pictures of different sizes and I think it would look good from a set of pictures from a vacation or an outing.

A new watch from Harry Winston, the Opus line which was introduced about 8 years ago now. This is the latest iteration of the luxury Opus line, I’m always fascinated by their unique designs. Only 100 of these will be made and since its part of the opus line I’m assuming that it will cost easily above $100 K. A very unique piece from Harry Winston.

An ACME pen? Reminds me of the Road Runner and Wile E Coyote. A cool looking pen withh an interesting grip reminding me of the good old cartoons for $130.

If anything represents Star Wars and the Rebel Alliance then it is this Fighter Plane. They have made the most detailed oriented model I have ever seen, and they are only making limited amounts of this model. Its is die cast and molded details looks identical to the real thing. It is a prize for any Star Wars fan to have, I’m one hoping to get my hands on it.

Moo is a printing company which produces a lot of very cool products, and it is attached to Flickr. I have seen it for years but didn’t bother making anything of it. Until recently I just started putting a few things together and one is the MiniCards from all the pictures and to be used in the Moo Mosaic Frame. Its a really interesting frame were you take 20 MiniCards to create a beautiful mosaic, I have just ordered my mini cards from some of my pictures and if it comes out nicely then I will be ordering another one with family pictures, you just have to make sure that the pictures can be cropped in a nice way.
