StarCraft II’s Heart of the Swarm trailer is everything I would want from this latest step forward in Blizzard’s real-time strategy game. I haven’t had the time I want to play StarCraft II, but I know I am going to put the time in to finish the single player game before the launch of this Expansion Pack, new units, new maps, and it does modify the game play. Damn the trailer looks good!

FASTtelco will be organizing an online gaming tournament on September 3rd at the Regency hotel, lots of local teams and famous teams from Bahrain and KSA will be participating in the event.

Registering for the tournament is on Thursday 25 -yesterday- and the games are:

• Call of Duty 4
• PES 2011
• Super Street Fighter

This seems like a very cool idea from Fasttelco and the gaming community, not sure what to do if you didn’t go to the Thursday registration I’m sure they have other ways to register. I know people that live by CoD and PES, Street Fighter is an interesting mix, I would have to play for 24 hours a day until September 3rd to be able to match some of these guys out there. The skills of some of the gamers in Kuwait is insane, the funny part is when I find them on Halo and going crazy. If you are into any of those games check out the competition.

The last few games of Street Fighter have been amazing and I hope that they come out with an animation soon, I never get tired of the Streetfighter Saga. Now this stop motion animation is a work of art, it looks so damn good and surprisingly this all took two days and was done with a Nikon D5100 with very little special effects.

Gears of War 3 is coming out very soon and I can’t wait to play it, this is a special edition XBox 360 that will be available in September. With the 320 GB Hard Drive and Two Controllers as well as Gears of War 3 Game. If I didn’t already have an XBox 360 I would honestly get it, even though the new XBox 360 or what ever iteration of the console is coming out at the end of 2012.

The trailer doesn’t say much but the ring gives a little detail, they are facing a new enemy, the Master Chief will be back in 2012. This time Microsoft is working with 343 Studios for this game and not Bungie, I just hope they don’t screw it up.

The Original One! The One that started it all! The one that made XBox what it is! A few weeks ago I went to Hawally to try to look for the Original Halo, I was a bit nostalgic, but to my luck I couldn’t find it. And now Microsoft is coming out with the 10 year Anniversary Edition, all polished and ready to play on the XBox 360. The best part of the whole thing is that now Multiplayer of the Original Halo can be played on XBox Live, so time for Sidewinder Rockets on XBox Live.

Gears of War is one of those games that you never get tired of and I love playing both online and solo with the first persion shooter missions. Its just such a satisfying game and its coming out very soon, September 20th to be exact and for once they listened to the fans. I remember picking up Halo Reach The Legendary Edition because it had an amazing statue and art book, and this time around they have one for Marcus Fenix and a cool artbook. $149 is a bit steep but I do like all the goodies that come with the Epic Edition.

When I saw these images I thought they were computer generated images, they look exactly like the troops in StarCraft. Well these aren’t computer generated but paper generated to be exact, somebody made all these amazing models out of paper, and they look insanely real. An amazing tribute to StarCraft, I’m still shocked that these are made from paper.

The new Mortal Kombat game is out and its looking good, these are some drawings of the characters of the new game. My favorite character in the game since the 90s was always Sub-Zero, and he is a ninja with freezing skills, I always managed to do pretty well in the game with him. Now the new game is out and its looking pretty good.

Truth is these are Ads for the game Portal 2 by Valve but they are pretty funny, I wouldn’t mind seeing an animated movie with these guys as the characters. The Robot Trust is the funniest one out of the bunch!
