There were a lot of new comedies this season with some more interesting then the others. This is the basic round up for all the shows that I have enjoyed and stars for the ones that surpassed my expectations. The usual ones are below and the two surprises for me is that Community might be coming offline when this season was even better then the 2nd season, and Two & A Half Men is much better with Ashton Kutcher.
The List:

The Usual Funny Shows

This is so funny that even Stephen Colbert couldn’t hold it together, damn he is hilarious. The guy who sent it in was a genius!

The series follows Mike Baxter, a director of marketing at an outdoor sporting goods store in Colorado, whose world is dominated by women — especially at home with his wife and three daughters, one of whom is a single mother.

This is one of those light hearted family comedies that you see every once in a while, but the moment I saw it I loved it. I used to be a HUGE fan of Home Imrpovement, I used to love all the thing Tim Allen did and the dynamic of the kids he had. I grew up watching that show, it was one of those shows in the 90s that wasn’t huge but was essential and people could relate to it and especially their neighbor who I never saw. Now comes along another show with a slightly different dynamic but still has that Tim Allen feel, the funny family and sarcastic style that I enjoy. Really fun show that I’m liking every episode I see.

The meltdown of Charlie Sheen over the past 6 months was probably one of the most talked about events in entertainment this year. Nobody could make sense of what this guy was saying or if he really was insane and took too many drugs. I have been used to hearing about him being in trouble for doing one thing or another but this was hilarious. He was talking crap about this boss and everyone in the entertainment industry and saying the weirdest things about Tiger Blood, Winning, Midgets, and Coming from Mars. From being the highest paid man on television to just being the highest man on television, the guy lost his bolts.

It seems he settled things with producers and the company, and settled for a nice cash lump sum and has been appearing in different places looking and sounding, then they announced that they would be roasting Charlie Sheen on Comedy Central. I have seen some of these Roasts and some of them get brutal, and I knew William Shatner & Seth MacFarlane were appearing so I had to see this Roast. The funny part is that they timed it to be at the same time as the season premiere as Two And A Half Men. The Roast was hilarious, some parts were ok but most of it was ridiculous, some of those comedians were brutal and Charlie Sheen finished it off at the end. If you haven’t seen its really worth seeing and entertaining.

I always have the music of Voltron playing in my head after they win, never had I thought that they would meet their end, its just incomprehensible. What if Voltron meets a horrific fate? Director Alex Albrecht ponders this doomsday scenario in his new fan movie, Voltron: The End, which stars Timothy Omundson (Carlton Lassiter from Psych).
What if fate is a formula?
Here’s the long-awaited trailer for Fox’s new supernatural drama Touch, created by Tim Kring (Heroes), starring Kiefer Sutherland as the father of a mute boy who can predict the future. It actually looks quite good from what we see here, strongly evoking the Person Of Interest concept (replacing a mysterious “Machine” with a little boy) with flashes of Rubicon (Danny Glover basically plays the half-crazy analyst James Badge Dale’s character visited for answers). Interesting to note they’ve stopped calling the boy “autistic” and he’s now just “mute”, too.
Its been a long time since I have seen Keifer Sutherland or Jack Bauer in a show, how different will this be, will be it as intense. I’m really liking the idea and it can come off as an amazing show, I like the idea behind it and I think Keifer Sutherland can pull it off.

For those who love Community this is the whole of Season 2 remixed into a Music Video by DJ Steve Potter and I loved it! I think they should have more Chang for Season 3, I swear that he is the best part of the show, lets hope for more Greendale insanity from Season 3.
