With the success of Iron Man, Marvel Studios has followed up with an Iron Man animated show called Iron Man: Armored Adventures. In this case they take the younger version of Tony Stark the genius and go through how he developed all the different version of the suit and it’s purposes, as this monstrosity called the Dynamobuster which is meant to destroy all that is in it’s path. Then the other versions for deep space travel, atmospheric flight and battle, the other version is a stealth suit meant to penetrate all kinds of surveillance and security. This is looking to be a very fun show, the animation and CGI quality is very good so they haven’t ruined it as I would have expected, its a bit of kid’s story line but still very entertaining and I have just seen a few episodes.

When his industrialist father Howard Stark disappears in a plane crash after refusing to weaponize the Earth Mover at Obadiah Stane’s behest, 16 year old genius Tony uses a high-tech suit of armor he has constructed and investigates a charge that Stane may have been involved in his father’s death. As Iron Man, Tony spends his time stopping Stane’s plans and saving the world from other villains such as Mandarin, Mr. Fix, Whiplash, A.I.M., Madame Masque, Living Laser, the Maggia, Firebrand, Controller, Crimson Dynamo, Blizzard, Killer Shrike, Unicorn, M.O.D.O.K., Ghost, Fin Fang Foom, Black Knight, and Technovore. He is assisted in his crime fighting efforts with help from James Rhodes and Pepper Potts. Tony’s activities as Iron Man usually result in his needing to make up excuses as to why he is constantly late or missing from school and other activities. Now dependent on his phenomenal technology for survival, Tony must balance the pressures of teenage life with the duties of being a super hero.

This is probably one of the funniest out takes I have seen, this is one show that isn’t afraid to cross the line. I was busting up laughing from this two minute clip, I really do wish they did this during a full episode, it would be hilarious.
“Memo 3-14 – Employees must NOW use insulting or offensive words in the work place”

Now this show lived up to its expectations and left me wanting a lot more, they introduced the V, the story line and lots of action and suspense. Anna is the leader of the V, they have shown up hovering over all large metropolitan areas, people don’t know what to expect. What the humans don’t know is that the Vees have been on earth for decades infiltrating their system and reaching sensitive locations and positions within governments and businesses. ABC only released for episodes but they were amazing, the best part is where this will go, the ending is leading us in an interesting direction. I like how they have kept the quality of the story at a high level, so many complex stories to work with, a great series and a lot of room for it to grow, can’t wait for them to release more episodes.

From turning co-workers into human popsicles to converting ordinary fruit into a military weapon, nothing is off limits at the company depicted in this satire. Better Off Ted gives us a birds eye view into the clockworks of a soulless corporation, Veridian Dynamics. As the corporation makes technological advancements, morals and human rights are heavily neglected. Don’t drop your kids off at the Veridian daycare, unless you don’t mind them doubling as janitors!

I can’t believe that I only heard of this show recently, Ted works for Veridian Dynamics, a company which makes any product for anyone if they are paid for it, nothing is off limits. Ted is the nice guy with his team of misfit scientists always making the amazing product, and Veronica is his hot but insane corporate boss and believes feelings is a waste of time. The comedy is non-stop completely making fun of corporate culture, and then the team inside are hilarious, a comedy I wasn’t expecting, it was about to be canceled but it got renewed for the second season which is playing now and more to come, a comedy that will get you laughing.

All this hype about Avatar 3D and all the manufacturers talking about 3D TVs coming out very soon, outfitting movie theaters with 3D projectors. There is one factor they keep omitting to talk about, its those tacky glasses which are in red and blue. The first 3D movie I remember watching was a Michael Jackson movie back in the early 90s/late 80s in Disney Land with my family, and those little things were flying around and I walked out with a headache.
I tried watching a few 3D movies after that but all I remember is walking out with a severe headache, and throwing those glasses in the trash. Its an added overhead for movie theaters, and to have those glasses at home just to watch TV. With TV manufacturers they need a new gimmick to convince people to buy these expensive TVs but you don’t really need it since it won’t be nicer that what you already have. TVs which 120Mhz @1080p is fantastic, the newer ones are causing a certain amount of blur but going 3D is not an improvement just a huge headache and tacky glasses for people, manufacturers need to sell more TVs fast and this is the best way they could think off.

We were left at Season 1 with Jax about to take Clay’s head for the death of Oppy’s wife. Tension building inside Samcro, ATF & FBI are pressuring them, white hate are moving in on charming. One hell of a start for the season, things are looking good for this show, people weren’t expecting it to be this good, neither was I but it turned out to be even better.

This season is nothing short of a roller coast their lives were being unraveled from every side, people were being hurt and killed. What a complex relationship internally while trying to fend off all these people who are trying to rip them apart, Jax is trying to hold the club together while trying to oppose Clay’s choices, trying to direct them to the right path. They are trying to fight off the League of American Nationalists or basically Nazi Nationalists. This season is full of ups and downs, you are always kept at the edge of your seat, I’m happy it has been renewed for season 3. The ending was so high that I couldn’t imagine them leaving it like that, there is still so much more this could go, I can’t wait for the next season.

I have been watching some of these shows for a while and some of them are new. Everyone enjoys a good comedy and these are the list that I’m following. At the top of the list is How I Met Your Mother, can’t get enough of Barney. Big Bang Theory just keeps getting funnier, these nerds are hilarious especially Wallowitz and his endeavors with women. I’m finding Courtney Cox to be very funny with the cast in Cougar Town, the dysfuncational relationship of that neighborhood is pretty funny. Accidently On Purpose was an interesting surprise, I never thought I would see Jenna Elfman in another TV show after Dharma & Greg which I used to love but then she comes along again with a great show and her usual charm and wit.

Comedy Line Up:

I kept reading and hearing about this show, I always had the impression that they would be people with super powers and this show is great. I was right and wrong, this is a very good show and it is far from sci-fi with super powers. This is a story about two boys who are raised to go hunting monsters, demons, spirits, and other unearthly objects and clearing them from earth. I have finished the first season in a couple of days, the story is really good, the characters are great, and getting scared every once in a while is fun. At certain points I do get freaked out that I switch on the lights but still its a lot of fun. One recommendation, don’t watch the show for the first time in bed at night, it freaked me the hell out and I had the lights on for a while before passing out.

I’m getting worked up for 24, things seems to be getting interesting. The new backdrop is the United Nations which is different then previous shots which were mostly American Government backdrops. Now a few of the cast half fallen off the grid, but there are a few new cast members, seems its going to be interesting. I posted about the 24 Season 8 Trailer previously but this also adds to the mix, what exactly is going to unfold, does this picture mean anything, the flags, or is just a picture. With 24 you never know what they might have up their sleeves, I just want it to start already.
24, Season 8 Cast — (L-R): John Boyd, Katee Sackhoff, Mykelti Williamson, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Freddie Prinze, Jr., Annie Wersching, Kiefer Sutherland, Anil Kapoor, Cherry Jones and Chris Diamantopoulos.
