Running Late!
This isnt the best start to a trip. The flight has been delayed two hours. At least we are sitting in the Pearl Lounge waiting for the flight to come in so we can leave already!
It isnt bad, but I wasnt expecting it to be late though! I was looking forward to checking in and passing out!
The one thing that did annoy me but Im happy their flight left are these kids who wouldnt stop screaming, and their parents not doing anything about it! They would keep running around like the damn energizer bunny. I wanted to trip one of them! Im happy their flight wasnt with us! That way I would have to rip what little hair I have on my shaved head!
Update: Plane is preboarding now, and time to go soon!
Quick Trip

Going with a friend and hopefully is going to be a good time! A little work during the day, then free time! I want to eat a ton of food, go to a couple of movies, and see the shopping malls! Want to see how much electronics are there now, and I want to go check out the dealerships there!

Review: Seagate Portable HD
Everyone loves extra storage, and more storage! You can never have enough storage! You are always bound to run out of storage! Enough about storage let us go to the device!
This is the Seagate Portable HD, and I have the 160 GB version. Have you ever been over at friend’s place, and wanted to transfer movies, a lot of pictures, or mp3s and it would take too long to burn to DVD. And most other external HDs are just too bulky and some require software to be installed. This is your perfect solution!
Pros:
- Large amount of space
- Very fast USB 2.0 transfer (480 Mbps)
- Very compact case
- No power cord neccesary, powered through the USB.
- No software neccesary, completely plug-n-play.
- Works on Windows and Macs
- Very Durable Case, and internal structure.
- Not heavy at all

7:00am first alarm goes off – Warren G – Regulators starts playing
7:10am 2nd alarm Michael Jackson – You Rock My World starts palying (louder)
7:25am 3rd Alarm Michael Jackson – Billie Jean (long dance remix) and i slowly wake up..
then i see some light.. eat my Frosties.. get up shower and go to work around 8:00-8:20am.. that is the usual day..
not the other day.. Like usual i thought i was going to sleep through the first two.. i was wrong.. at 7 something my door opens.. and im half awake, then someone switchs the lights on and i jump out of bed because i hate that and it turns out to be my mother so I was shocked! Then she tells me she thought I was awake because of the music.. so I mute the sound.. and she switchs off the lights and i go back to sleep with no alarm going to work late..
She said she was half asleep walking thr ough the corridor and heard music! I was still asleep.. but just reacting! hahaha! How precious that 15 mins of extra sleep is!
Picking Up Robo
It was a rediculously hot day, and I was thinking about picking it up on a thursday a little while back, but I had too many things to do that thursday and I really wanted to pick it up since I havent had the bike for over two weeks! Not having my bike was killing me! Even if I wasnt riding Robo, I really dont want it in someone else’s garage, I want him in my garage! Safe and sound! But it was too hot to go after work on thursday, and I couldnt go in the evening so I told them I would pick up the bike on saturday after 6pm. They close at 5 pm so they told me the gaurd (7aris) will be waiting for me. So I went over their with my gear in the land cruiser! Like usual the garage was closed down, so I saw the gaurd and spoke to him, and he had no clue who I was. But I saw my bike in the back next to a few other bikes. But the gaurd was a bit skeptical, and he didnt know what was up so I called the service guy’s mobile number, and he picked up. But he forgot to tell him, and they forgot to wash the bikes. I even sent the money for the bill earlier in the day. But it was no problem since I pulled my bike out from between the bikes. And I wiped it down just enough for me to get on it, and the rest of the dust will fly off.

The service and putting some more carbon fiber parts on the bike didnt cost too much. Total of 41 KD.
Problems Fixed at 1000km Service:
- Front breaks werent doing too well so the discs were replaced under warranty.
- The ABS system was malfunction so only the servo breaks were available, and the computer was replaced under warranty.
- The did an oil change, changed the oil filter, clean the air filter, and check the engine.
- And the carbon fiber parts were put on.
The part that took some time was replacing the ABS computer, they to wait a week and a half to get the part! But I didnt mind too much, but I wanted Robo back in the my garage! While this was all going on the service guy kept calling me and apologizing for the mix up with the guard. I didnt mind at all since the guard was doing his job, and it didnt take long to clear things up!
After that I got on the bike! Leaving Shuweikh Industrial Area, and my plan was taking the scenic route home which was fun. My mp3 player was charge and I was ready to go! I took the second ring road all the way to gulf street, stop by the One for a bit to take a look at a few things, and then took the gulf road all the way back home! And when I got home I have a nice cold coke in a bottle! Couldnt have a been a more pleasent day! I wish I had more of those kinds of days!

Review: Full Metal Panic: 2nd Raid
Plot Summary: This series is set about two months after the events ocurred in the Tuatha de Danaan at the end of the original series. Mithril becomes aware of a secret organization that has technology able to counter the ECS (Electronic Cloaking System) mode. This organization, known as Amalgam, also has “Black Technology”, obtained from “Whispered” like Kaname Chidori, and like the other intelligency agencies, they intend to obtain more. However, when Sousuke’s mission to protect Chidori is terminated by Mithril, all seems to be in place for Amalgam’s plans… Like many of its fans know, it is based of the FMP novel “The End of Day by Day.”
This is one amazing continuation of the the first Full Metal Panic! Unlike FMP-Fumoffu this isnt comedy based, even though it does have its moments. There is a lot of depth to it, and this time Mithril is fighting off an unknown enemy who have similar if not better technology to them. The plot line is fantastic, the depth of characters get even better. And the mecha action is so good that I cant get enough of it! This series ended so well but I still want more!

Review: IOGEAR DVI KVM
I know a lot of people use KVMs and basically they all do the main job of transfering between multiple computers all on to one screen,keyboard, and mouse. But I needed something with higher quality build and for heavy duty use.
Pros:
- Quality of video is very high.
- Up to Four Computers
- DVI input and output
- USB connection not Keyboard and Mouse to the computer(I like this)
- You can switch sound from one computer and screen output from another. You can listen to sound from one computer and work on another computer.
- The Items connected by USB to the KVM will switch to the computer active on the screen.
- It comes with 4 KVM cables so you dont need to buy anything extra unlike other KVMs.
- I think it looks extremely smooth, and its very solid.
Cons:
- You have to be on the computer you want when you boot it up or it will go to the basic visual setting (800×600)
- It is known to have some problems currently with computers with nVidia motherboards.

Overall: The audio connections are analog and not optical. Some people might see this as a negative but how many consumer KVMs come with optical audio? There is a connection for the audio out and the microphone! So you can switch between computers easily. I think this KVM does the job very well, and there are a lot of different keyboard-short cuts to switch different things between computers which makes it very flexible. Not just normally switching, so you have other options. I have bought other KVMs before, and none of them have included all the cabling with them before. I have given this product 4 out of 5 which is very good, but its because the problem with the mother board and its a little expensive, but other then that its a fantastic product. And it is also known to be apple friendly.

Uniform Holiday!
Half days… who thought of them? Seriously!
Why cant we all get the same two days off! I dont want to work half a day on thursday! I think the people who work half a day on thursday get the short end of the stick! Because people who work in Banks and Financing they get Friday and Saturday off. And some people get Thursday and Friday off. But this half day thing really gets to me sometimes!
I think they should make all working holidays Friday and Saturday if they want to be uniform with financial institutuions and give us a damn break! Anyone else think it should be this way? Everything is working fine in the other countries with everyone having saturday and sunday off!
Review: Glory Road
This is based on a Basket Ball team in Texas. Its the Texas Western University Basketball team in the NCAA Division one basketball. The coach has his first try to take a team to the top. And this is all taking place in the 1966, and at the peak of racial America. The difference of color was really made known, and especially in Texas. They were facing a hard time with all the other teams, as well as the difficulty of facing racial America. At the time nobody was starting African Americans on basketball teams. They were always on reserve! But this coach Haskins was different! He didnt see color, all he saw was a basketball skills and how he could form a formidable team that could win. I think this movie had characters who had a great combination together, each one with his own struggle and complementing the other character. But then in the end they were all fighting for the championship as one team! It was great, and really enjoyable!
