Traveling Soon
I will be traveling Monday night to the US through Frankfurt. Im just hoping nothing too crazy happens. I want to have all my gadgets with me, some magazines, and no creams neccesary! I took some time off from a while back, Im going to a friend’s wedding in the states at the same time as getting some work done. Sort of two birds with one stone.
I have a lot planned! And especially a lot of riding to do, which I will posting lots of pictures! And I will go see every movie possible no matter how bad it is! And pick up a couple of dvds and video games. I had this planned from a while back since I knew Ramadan was around the corner. And my good friend asked me to come to his wedding so I was more then happy to go. Two weeks is going to be a nice break!
Lithium Batteries!
Ok how annoying is it when you charge something then walk away with it for a little while and then suddenly its already dead or at least half way there! After doing nothing. This involves a few things such as laptops, mp3 players, cell phones, and other pieces of electronics that are on lithium batteries. Technology has moved forward greatly over the past 5 years, but battery technology has not improved that much! That is what they have to work on!
You know when you charge your cell phone and use it for about three phone calls, and when you put it down its beeping like crazy and then it dies! That is probably the most annoying, but what annoys me the most is battery cell memory. Its what happens what you charge your batter too much and then it loses some power in it because you charged it before it was drained. The manufacturers tell you it cant happen but it does, that is why people replace there batteries! Nokia phones are a bit better then before since that they dont decay as fast any more! Some phones are pretty bad phones, but they have improved. My luck has been better with Mp3 players since none of the ones I have had have gone bad yet.
But my laptop is annoying now, since one battery is as useful as a paperweight. And the second one is going down the same road! I took it off the charger and 20 mins later it was beeping! I want to slap somebody who built the damn battery! What the hell were they thinking! Cant they improve this damn technology! And now whats even worse Dell and Sony laptops are blowing up left and right!
Review: Long Way Round.
This is one of those books that I had to read, and I have been waiting to read it for a while. They also have a DVD as well that I bought. I have been reading through other books, but I know I wanted to read this one. Its just the one you keep seeing on the shelf. I read one to two books at time not more because I would probably end up not finishing any that way.
This book revolves around two men who wanted to cross the globe on motorcycles. Their love for motorcycles is very apparent from the way they describe riding since they were young, and I cant blame them really because I am a motorcycle fanatic so I can understand their passion for it. This book is written in a way that you get throw into the whole adventure of what they were doing. There were great times and hard times which you go through with them, and you feel for them and can understand how they feel to a certain degree. Its narrated by both Charley and Ewan, and you get to see their deep thoughts and how they view a certain moment which I thought was fantastic. Ewan and Charely were close friends for longest of time, but after this I dont know how much closer they could have got. Its amazing, because when you undertake this type of adventure it will test your friendship and your link with other people. You feel how they feel when they meet new people, and go through what they were going through. I really enjoyed this book, and felt great that I got to the end of the book, and not because I finished the book but because I went through this journey with them.

Emmy Awards

The Emmy Awards are taking place Sunday August 27th and I only know one thing. Jack Bauer is going to win the award and its simple as that. And every category that 24 has been nominated for will win. Its simple as that, there are other shows but are nothing in the presence of Jack Bauer!

Natural Gamer
The concept of a nautral gamer! That has been in my head for the past couple of weeks. When I say this I am refering to Video Games sepcifically PC or console. The reason this came to mind recently is because I play a lot of games when I have the chance and some of my friends dont.
Whenever I have played games I’ve never played before it usually doesnt take me too long to figure them out. And it doesnt matter what type of game it could be a fighting game, simulator, adventure, strategy, RPG, MMORPG, anything really. Im not saying that I would be the best player at everything, Im just saying that I can play most of these games. And there is always somebody who plays the game better then me, who has a better score or something like that. Thats not really the issue, but some people I can tell are natural gamers. That they can play any type of game and be some what competitive at it.
There are some people who are really bad at video games, I mean they really cant figure out half the buttons on the controller and figure out how to move the character. It drives me nuts when my friend starts playing and doesnt know how to move and look around at the same time! I dont say much, because I have learned to be calmer about it. But I have realized that is something that drives me nuts. I mean he is bad at every video game! Not just specifically one guy, its a couple of people i know, but it drives me up the wall when they play so badly even after I give them some directions and explain what they have to do. I know its only a game, but how come they are so freaking bad! hahaha! People always think of some people as a natural athelete! But nobody has thought of the natural gamer except now! hehehehe

Cali Riding
This is when I was in the states a little while back and I was going riding with my friend Hamdy and Eric! There was another edition to my bikes! And it was this little red monster! The Triumph Daytona 675, and I think it is an amazing motorcycles with its V-Twin Engine and grunty power! So now its the 675, the R1, and the FZ6. I didnt let Eric ride the R1 or the 675 just because he has to learn to ride with the FZ6 first! I think I have given the riding bug to everyone, and I think its spreading! Anyways here are some pictures of us whenever we stopped! It was a nice sunny cool California day!
I remember that day since we had an amazing day riding, with clear skies. The roads were perfect, and we could see other rides coming from the other direction when we were in the moutains. It was amazing taking turn by turn, and keeping an eye on my friends through the side view mirror to make sure they are making it through without any problems! I dont worry about Hamdy since I know he is a capable rider and makes clear decisions so I was worried about Eric since its his first time on the moutain roads. These roads are challenging and force you to believe in your skills and improve your skills! Curve after curve after curve! Until we reach Alice’s cafe where its motorcycle central, and we park and relax! What a day! then he head up to Half Moon Bay which has an amazing Ocean view, then we go back down to Santa Clara to meet up with the rest of the guys! Couldnt have asked for a better day!

Long Weekend!
Posted in Personel on 24 Aug 2006 at 5:47 pmThis is going to be a fun long weekend! I havent been in the water for while! I got my 10 year old jetski up and running after cleaning up the engine and changing out the sparkplugs and pumping in the gas! Im happy it works really! I got a ton of Dvds with me, lots of anime which I dont think the guys will really appreciate! Its an acquired taste! hehehe! I burned two new CDs so its going to be a nice slow drive with the jet ski in tow.
Exhaust Upgrade
I love the way Robo looks, but for his agressive stance he is really quiet! I wanted something to give him a better growl. A loud enough bark to go with the big bite. So I have been looking a couple of exhausts such as Laser, Two Brothers, Remus, and Akrapovic. And I have come to the conclusion that the Akrapovic looks the best! So thats what I ordered! It will take two weeks to get here though! The exhaust system seems to be in high demand so there is a one week delay, and then another couple of days for delivery from the UK.

Pullin It Off
Posted in Personel on 24 Aug 2006 at 9:32 amSo tuesday night after Turn by Turn i thought I was going to pass out, but I kept tossing and turning until 3 am, and even at 4 am I thought I might get some sleep, but nothing. So I got up and got me some pineapple that I saw in the fridge and sat on my computer at 4:30am on Wednesday. I decided to finish up some work emails early in the morning because I wasnt sure how my head was going to be early in the day. I dont know when exactly my body will want to sleep, but I wasnt feeling tired.
So after a few emails I started watching some anime, and then time was flying bye. I watched about two hours worth of anime and I was enjoying myself! It was a nice start to a wednesday. Took a shower got to work around 7:15am, and I thought everything was going to go smoothly today. And a few meetings and a lot of paperwork finished up I left work and went home. The family was home, and I could hear my nephew! Then I went over to him, and he smiles when he sees me. I know Im feeling a bit tired, but I wanted to play with him! hehehe! I had lunch then I passed out in the living room where everyone was sitting down. My mother told me that I didnt move at all, and I nothing was waking me up (I failed to mention to them that I didnt sleep all night, but I decided to leave that out). Then I woke up to my nephew lightly drumming my head while my mother was holding him. I smile and then he smiles then he goes “Dai Daiiiiii” and continues with his drumming! I think he likes my shaved head! hehehe! I got up went to Hawalli, and picked up a few DVDs because the guys were coming over at night!
I didnt know if I would last that long on two hours! The guys came, we ate, watched a movie, and relaxed! It was perfect! Didnt think I would be able to hold out for the day, but I did! I didnt go to sleep until 2am. Fun Wednesday, and its the beginning of a long weekend, but I still have work on thursday! So two days is still better then one!
