PauseDa90s is dedicated to the pop culture of the 90′s, when the Bulls were the champs, when Sega made hardware, when neon and Hulk Hogan reigned supreme, and when Vanilla Ice qualified as a rapper. Man this video brings back memories. This is how we live back in the day, how portable was, and we loved our games. Back when WWE was really called WWF!
This was one of the coolest shows from back in the 90s and I was reminded of it when I saw the article by TV Squad. It was really a show that was unexpected in its time and so well done. I remember buying the videos from the Video Club in Salmiya to watch each and every episode that I could. Earl Sinclair was the head of the family, and I loved that baby, he would do the funniest things and always hitting Earl with the frying pan. Then there is the grandmother who was slightly evil but I loved her sarcasm. I always wondered how they made the characters, and I love how they made them seem so normal. I wish they would refresh this show and bring it back.
Armegaddon was one of my favorite movies, it still is, and I still love watching when its on TV or I watch it every once in a while. I always knew that I loved movies but this movie was just something else for me. I remember back in the day we really didn’t see trailers much, we didn’t really watch online trailers back in 1998 or 1997, we were all on emails, chat programs and playing quick online games. Now when I look at this old trailer I think the trailer itself is crap, quality of the video itself aside, I think the way that they put it together wasn’t good at all, and the guy’s voice just feels disconencted from the movie itself. Its funny I think the guy who was talking is the same guy that does all the movies. I loved Bruce Willis in this movie and Steve Buscemi (the guy who went nuts while in space) was hilarious in this movie, it had a fantastic storyline. I didn’t even know who Michael Bay was at the time, but I knew Jerry Bruckheimer was the producer.
There was always something special about the cartoons back in the day, I would be stuck to the screen. I remember Mumra from Thunder Cats really scared me and pissed me off, I don’t know how many things I broke swinging a stick around saying “Thunder Cats, Thunder Cats, Thunder Cats! HOOOOOOO!”, I remember even hitting our Sony Tri-Color TV back in the day, and it weighed around 60 Kgs.
- Thunder Cats – The best cartoon of the 80s, Panthera was cool always making gadgets and still kicking ass
- Voltron – The best of the 80s
- Silver Hawks – They were really cool!
- Centurions – Man and Machine Power Extreme! I wanted to be Ace McCloud, always wanted to fly!
- Brave Star – Some many different powers!
- He Man – I wanted his tiger!
- GI Joe
Damn this crazy show from the early 90s is back, who remembers V! After watching that TV show I had a fear of lizards and white mice for a while. Lizards taking human form and they have the ability to eat humans whole in one go. Seems that ABC is making the pilot for this show, and this is the trailer. It looks pretty good, and some interesting actors, but if they don’t do this right they can really ruin it, so I’m crossing my fingers and hoping for a great show.
