Justice League: War

The world’s finest heroes found the Justice League in order to stop an alien invasion of Earth.

The one thing I love about the DC Universe is that they are always coming out with these animated movies and at very high pace. These aren’t theatrical releases but each o

What I Liked

The animation style was very clean and with the right combination of animation and CG. The story was high octave and very well put together for a short movie. We got see the characters at different stages, so you could meet them individually first except for maybe Superman. Then there was the bromance between Green Lantern & The Flash it was great and hilarious, hopefully this is eventually translated in to a live action film. Batman was great in the movie and as dark as usual, the one who puts the plans together. Cyborg & Captain Marvel had a great rythem going together, and I just wanted a bit more from Captain Marvel, he is always underplayed in these movies, Wonder Woman was of course the badass. The humor in the movie played out perfectly.

What I Disliked

It was a short movie so there were a few parts of the stories that were forced together. Darkseid’s introduction didn’t play out smoothly and he felt more like a video game villain that you reach at the end of the game.

Overall it is a good addition to DC animated library and if you do like comic movies then this is one to enjoy.

Valvrave the Liberator

Thanks to the development of the Dyson Sphere, The majority of the human populace lives in space. The Dorssia Military Federation, and the Atlantic Rim United States exist as major Military countries, while JOIR is a neutral principality, the story follows Haruto Tokishima as a normal boy going thru high school in T.C (True Calendar) year 71. This all changes when Haruto meets the humanoid weapon Valvrave.

Finding out that your population is under attack with no hope of getting away, and the Valvrave are their only hope. I really like the precedence of the story and how it develops. There are more players who show up as the story progresses but season two is a hell of continuation with a crazy ending. It’s not as good as Lelouche The Rebellion but still pretty good and fun to watch, got to enjoy how the Valvraves develop in the story and their pilots.

Animegraphy 2013 – This Is Why I Love Anime

This is why I love anime, it brings across so many emotions you are bound to connect with one, and it gets you going, your blood pumping, your adrenaline rushing, and you immerse yourself in it, and its never enough. This year I managed to catch up with a lot of Anime but to the end of 2013 I fell back again, now I’m back at it again and this Youtube video says a lot.

2013 Coming To An End

NewYear

This has been a very interesting year with a lot of changes, ups and downs like anyone else. You always have good and bad experiences and the best thing is to enjoy your good times and learn from the bad.

For the past month I have been slightly disconnected from my online activity due to real life taking over completely. Too much family and work activities that kept me busy to the point that any other free time I had I would just try and get some sleep. Only recently I have managed to catch up with some of the TV shows I have had piled up.

With all these good, great, and bad experiences that you go through in life your perspective changes on things and you tend to hopefully develop from that. Looking forward to this coming year and hopefully getting my blog revamped at last, its been too long, about 4 years going on 5 since the last revamp.

Enjoy your 2014 people.

Review: Thor The Dark World

ThorDarkWorld1

Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

ThorDarkWorld2

Thor is back swinging his Hammer between the seven worlds after the insanity in the Avengers. But there lurks an evil that they do not see and they will rain hell on Asgard. Loved the action that started from the beginning of the movie and the relationship between Thor & Jane picked up where it left off and it is a lot of fun. One hell of a movie and I love what Marvel keeps doing with their movies.

Surly Moonlander & Pugsley

SurlyMoonlanderPugsley1

The first time I saw this bike was a few years ago in Aspen Colorado, it has ridiculously fat tires and looks like you are floating in the snow. I honestly thought my eyes were deceiving me so I was walking where the bike was treading and ended up sinking into the snow. Turns out the fat tires of the bike is what keeps it afloat and if you read up on them on the website they are made to go where no typical bike would go. After that I looked into this bike, they have normal bikes and they are a specialty manufacturer of fat bikes, specifically the Moonlander & Pugsley, which I think are very cool looking. When I saw the Pugsley up close again I honestly loved it, I thought it was a cool looking bike and a machine I would like to ride around, it just looks light, and the Moonlander has even bigger tires, its like riding a monster bike.

The pricing on these bikes range from $1400 to $1800 depending on which one you chose and the annoying part is that it isn’t sold online. There is only one way to buy it, at a store which is a Surly dealer and in this case you can only find that in Dubai, and it is just a very annoying process to go through in this case. Still I want to try a bike out to see if I want to purchase it because it is one very expensive Bicycle. And I have been in some specialty bicycle store before, they do get very expensive.

Review: Majestic Prince

MajesticPrince3

Plot Summary: In the latter half of 21st century, humans leave the Earth and begin to live in space. In order to adapt to the environment in space and deal with the hostile aliens in Jupiter, genetically engineered children called “Princes” are artificially raised and trained to be pilots of armed robots “AHSMB (Advanced High Standard Multipurpose Battle Device). This is a story about one of the teenage “Princes”, Hitachi O Izuru, who studies in an academic city Grandzehle.

One of the funner Mecha Animes from this season, I do enjoy most Mecha shows just because I love Mecha anime so much but this one had a great story and I loved the development in it. The characters were serious but fun, they were in a difficult spot but I love how the machines turned out to be a lot more then just machines, an extension of the pilot themselves. As the show progresses more and more is revealed about the Wulgaru, and it just keeps getting more intense. A very well done mecha anime with a decent story line and awesome mechas. I honestly love the combination of CG and drawing in this anime, it is an excellent mix, for any Mecha fan you will enjoy this.
