2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 – An Upgrade

I like how they call this color Furious Fuschia, they are really taking the Muscle car to another level with the Challenger, some people may not like it but I love the bluntness of this car, they were unapologetic when they made it and they love the statement that it makes. They have now upgrade to a 6.4 Liter Hemi for the SRT8 with a bump of 55 horsepower and 40 pound-feet of torque up to 480 bhp and 460 lb-ft. They are also planning upgrades for the interior, but I think that its simple and fits the simple look of this muscle car. I’m not expecting this car to handle like a German machine but I think it would be a lot of fun to drive.

Toy Cars Destruction

There is something very entertaining about explosives and there is a danger as well but this gentlemen has taken it to new hieghts. Slow motion capture of the destruction of his diecast vehicles with an amazing musical score to boot, the video is fantastically detailed and well done but I think that a lot of explosive material was needed to destroy the little machines as it did, for those don’t know don’t try but enjoy the video.

A New Blog – Brake Banzeen

I tend to follow car blogs a lot, to see whats coming next, what are the numbers of the next machines. What else manufacturers have lined up or the troubles some of these companies face. One of these new blogs is Brake Banzeen, I have been following this Kuwaiti blog for some time now and I like it, he tends to have some information before those main car blogs do and sometimes he has some really good juicy videos to watch that make my mouth water seeing some of those machines, like the details on the new M5. If you like cars or anything with four wheels then this blog should be added to your list, I hope he transfers to a main address rather then a wordpress address soon.

Hurst Competition/Plus Challenger

The Challenger SRT 8 is already a powerful car, but Hurst is taking it a step further. I don’t know why but I can picture myself driving this car with the tunes of Dukes of Hazard playing in the background. Hurst has a package for this car to bump it up to 572 bhp with all the tweaks you would like, and I really like this blue color scheme. It has this classic but new look to it that I think Dodge got right in the design.

The package includes:

  • Eibach suspension system
  • Magnaflow exhaust system
  • Hurst 20-inch alloy wheels
  • Color-matched leather inserts and stitching for the interior
  • Matte black exterior accents
  • Competition/Plus short throw shifter with the classic white ball

It will be available in B5 Blue, Hemi Orange, Tor Red

Ferrari California Edo Competition

The Ferrari California has been an interesting vehicle for the past year, and I saw it in front of me at the Zayanni Showroom and pictures do not do it justice. I think Ferrari have done an exquisite job of creating a beautiful hard top convertible, and it has this aggressive stance to this vehicle. Edo Competition have done the right job of not going overboard with the modifications to the vehicle, but some tuning modifications and wheels have made this vehicle look quite agressive and give it that extra boost to about 500 bhp out of the 4.3 Liter V8. With a top speed of 315 km/h and a 0-62 of 3.9 seconds this vehicle is a force to be reckoned with.
