Graceland – Not Your Typical Cop Show

Graceland1

Somewhere in Southern California, in a drug raid run by the US government, a beachfront property was seized and turned into a residence for undercover cops. They are all top agents of the DEA, FBI, and Customs and they are living in this house unofficially known as “Graceland”. “Graceland” is a place full of secrets, and bad, good, and blurred moments too. The only idyllic thing is its outside look, but the lives of its residents are nothing like it. The lies which are in the base of their undercover work, are formed a web of lies that pervades everything. Coming of a new graduating at the top of his class, FBI rookie, Mike Warren (Aaron Tveit), could make the life of a legendary FBI agent Paul Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) and the others, more complicated or it could reveal the truth. It is based upon actual events.

Graceland2

This show took a bit of getting used to, several different law agencies under the same house in an undercover situation running different or same ops. The characters of the show were interesting and the best of the bunch is Paul Briggs, is he a bad guy or a good guy, or good guy doing bad things to beat the bad guys. Then you have Mike Warren the best of the best out of Quantico, top of his class and meant to investigate Briggs. The whole house is filled with a bunch of characters and the story takes some interesting twists and turns over the 13 episode season, pretty impressive and I’m looking forward to the second season. It was a hell of an ending but left just enough of it unanswered so I don’t know where this will go next. For a cop show this is a different kind of show but short and sweet.

Flash Forward – On Hold

FlashForward

One of the main guys on the show, David Goyer, is leaving Flash Forward now which has resulted in a hault in production. Most TV shows are now back on, but now we are on hold until March when the shows are supposed to air again. It seems the ABC had a creative difference basically meaning they didn’t like where the TV show was going so the show is on short vacation. I know people are loving the show but the press keeps reporting about all the bad things happening with Flash Forward, doesn’t look like it’s future is safe at this point, too bad I really liked the show.

24 Season 7

First off, this is the best season of 24 that has come out, a mind bending story line. You never know what to expect, you don’t know what is going to happen next. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who is going to read this, its just one hell of a season. They really out did themselves this time around, there were so many climaxes, so many explosions, a conspiracy wrapped within another one. You just can’t seem to predict anything that is going to happen or what else could go wrong that Jack has to fix. The one thing about this show is that there are always sacrifices and this time around Jack lost a good man and friend. I don’t know what to expect for season 8 but I bet its going to be a hell of a season.

24 Season 7

CTU is no longer there, Jack Bauer is getting grilled by the congressional committee, a new president came into office, and there is a new threat to be dealt with. The FBI pulls Jack Bauer out to help with their crisis and from the beginning of the show things come in fast and hard. Its Jack Bauer vs. Tony Almeda, its a lot more complicated then that. Everyone is in for a treat this season, it has been nothing short of insane, and you have to watch 24: Redemption to understand all that is going on, its all connected. I think they want a huge bang for this season, I’m just happy knowing there are two more seasons after this one, for a start of season 7 and just seeing the first 5 hours its nothing short of insane.
