Panerai Pocket Watch Tourbillon GMT Ceramica

PaneraiPW1

There are some unique watch pieces out there, and this one from Panerai an amazing piece to behold. I have always thought that pocket watches are cool with the chain in the pocket, but this piece of art is made meticulously and the chain was made to match.

PaneraiPW2

There are only 50 units available across the world and each one is priced at $215’000. I would love to just to see a piece in front me even though it is well out of my reach, the pictures of this unique piece looks beautiful but it does not do it justice.

Coca-Cola Set of Three: Film, Music, & Sports From Assouline

AssoulineCocaCola1

For over a century Coca-Cola has been a touchstone of modern culture and a global icon. First sipped at an Atlanta soda fountain, the beverage has become an instantly recognizable symbol around the world, woven into people’s lives and memories. This newest addition to Assouline’s best-selling Memoire collection, Coca-Cola: Film, Music, Sports celebrates the iconic brand’s broad-reaching influence in the domains of film, music, and athletics. With imagery of some of these industries’ most revered names, and forewords penned by Ridley Scott, Quincy Jones, and LeBron James, these volumes explore the beverage’s prominence in some of the greatest films of all time, its inspiration for legendary musicians of all genres, and its motivational support of athletes from the Olympics to professional sports. This limited-edition set in a unique sculpted ice slipcase is a must-have accessory not only for collectors of Coca-Cola memorabilia but also for lovers of American culture everywhere.

AssoulineCocaCola2

Assouline is an interesting publication, they make unique books on subjects ranging from art, food, sport, marketing, history, brands, and people. Their books are always high quality with beautifully done pictures, a different perspective on a subject with lots of amazing pictures. Their books are always hardback and sometimes only a limited edition of books are made, and in this case I love the quality of their books. I don’t always buy their books right away because they are very big and heavy, not something you can carry around with you but it also depends on this subject. This book is about the influence of Coke in Sports, Film, and Music and I love all three subjects and Coke has always been one of my favorite brands. I have one Coke Assouline book and it is filled with all their old advertising and other pieces of work from Coca Cola, and I preordered this piece from Assouline as soon as I saw it.

Gerber – Apocalypse Kit

What if it happens? What if our worst fears are realized? If the Dead walk, the continuation of the human race will become a daily struggle. Are you prepared to protect and defend your family and friends? Your best chance lies in the Gerber Apocalypse Survival Kit.

Enclosed in a super durable canvas carrying case with reinforced stitching, the kit is compact and packable. To beat the uprising we must work together. We must arm ourselves and organize.

The kit’s based on the cache of Gerber weapons Rick and company came across on this season of The Walking Dead, and includes seven tools—three knives, two machetes, a parang, and a hatchet. The moment I saw this kit on TV on The Walkind Dead series I thought “Lucky bastards, now that is the perfect kit to have during a Zombie invasion”. And now that I saw that it is for sale by Gerber the first thought that came to mind is “I WANT THIS”. I don’t know why but I have a thing for swords and knives, I’m sure I’m not a pyschopath, well relatively sure, but I find these types of tools and weapons to be very appealing. After the huge success of selling this kit they are making another limited run of this kit, only 200 are being made. If you buy them individually it is more expensive so as kit its much smarter, now the funny part is the descriptions for each of the individual items keeps talking about it like you are really in The Walking Dead. I would love to order this but I’m not sure about how I would be able to ship via international Fed-Ex or DHL, and even if it ships what would happen which it reaches our customs, that it is another story. Still this is a very cool kit.

Lamborghini Gallardo 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale

Looking rather fetching in its flawless coat of Rosso Mars paint, which the automaker proudly claims recognizes Italy’s famous red racing cars, this latest version of Lambo’s V10-powered supercar is based on the LP570-4 Blancpain Edition that was unveiled at last year’s Paris Motor Show. That means it weighs 2,954 pounds and makes good use of its 570 horsepower to hit 0-62 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds. That massive rear spoiler is manually adjustable to help keep the wheels on the ground, and both it and the car’s hood are crafted from carbon fiber. Lamborghini will happily plaster the interior with carbon goodness in place of the standard black and red motif, surely for an extra charge.

Now Lamborghini have done it again making one very sexy looking machine with the Super Trofeo Stradale Gallardo. Only 150 of these special Gallardos are earmarked for production, in either the aforementioned red hue or, optionally, in Grigio Telesto or Bianco Monocerus. They keep improving these lovely machines and with that massive rear spoiler I don’t know how it handle on the track but it has a sexy rear end to it.

Confederate Black Flag

There are a lot of custom bike makers out there, but the most unique and modern creations come from Confederate Motorcycles, the new Confederate Black Flag which is the P120 Fighter in Matte Black. Only 13 special editions will be made of this machine and 4 are already reserved.

For a work of art chiseled out of bare metal it takes off pretty quickly with 160 bhp and 145 lbs-ft of torque. Again no pricing is announced but I’m assuming that you would need to take a loan for a house to buy it. I love this machine, damn it looks like one mean machine.

Ferrari 599 HGTE China Limited Edition

It looks like everyone is going for the Chinese market, and everyone wants a piece of it, now so does Ferrari. They have done a Ferrari tour across China with a few 599s and now they have came up with the Limited Edition 599 HGTE which has a special look to it, and I think the exterior looks pretty good.

Based on the 599 GTB Fiorano with the company’s new Handling GTE package, the China Limited Edition has been updated with special touches designed by Chinese artist Lu Hao: the starter button glows jade green, the tachometer features ancient Chinese characters instead of the usual numerals, and the luggage is emblazoned with a map of the Silk Road taken by the famous Italian explorer Marco Polo. The Rosso Fuoco paintjob with the gray roof mimics the 599XX, and only a dozen examples will be made – with over a billion people in the market, we’re betting they’ll be snapped up fast. Check it out in the high-res image gallery below.
