Star Wars Rebels

The Jedi have been wiped out and the Empire spreads tyranny through the galaxy. Hope runs thin. But on the small planet of Lothal a big change is looming. A group of rebels meet a 14-year-old con artist named Ezra and soon it’s clear their destinies are linked. Aboard their ship, the Ghost, Ezra and the rebels embark on an adventure to ignite a rebellion and strike back against the Empire.

Words can not express how excited I am to see this animated feature after watching Star Wars The Clone Wars for 6 years. I was very disappointed when it came to an end but Disney did not want to disappoint and hopefully this will be just as good with just as many characters. It takes place after the Clone Wars with some very different characters, and the Dark Side have taken over, the Storm Troopers are here. In October we get to see the Rebels and how they face the Dark Side, this is going to be Epic.

Green Lantern: Animated Series

For once a show that really explored the Green Lantern Universe, and the animation grew on me, I’m not usually too keen on CGI but this combination they got it right. The characters really filled their place with the right type of drama. Only to be suddenly cut off and now no more GL when there is still so much to explore and so many enemies to face. The thing about the Green Lantern Universe is that they have so much material to work with that they can literally keep this show going for decades with an excellent story line, but it is yet another show that met it’s end prematurely.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

For Five Years I have been following this show and craving every episode, I just love the way it was developed and now, I have to wait until the movie next year or the new animated series which is called Star Wars Rebels. I don’t know where its going to pick up but I loved the characters in this show, especially the bad guys, they really put a lot of depth into the characters, it doesn’t feel like some kid show. I’m almost done with season five, I just hope they didn’t leave us hanging, now that Disney bought it out I just hope they don’t turn it into a kiddy show and keep the dignity that the Star Wars animated franchise has.

Young Justice

They built an amazing storyline, which had a hell of an ending, I was honestly expecting more for next season only to find out that it has been cancelled. They sort of picked up where the original Justice League left off and that was an amazing show too, now I don’t know what they have planned but for something as serious and as well done as these animated shows, they have some big shoes to fill.

Star Wars – The Clone Wars – Coming To An End On Cartoon Network

SWTheCloneWars1

Now this is something I really wasn’t expecting, one of the animated shows that I follow religiously and I thought was going strong. This might be the last season of Star Wars on Cartoon Network, and there is still so much to see, whats great about Star Wars is that it’s in a Universe with so many stories to tell, but it doesn’t seem like it is stopping, but they might be changing directions. Still I’m a bit shocked that a show that is doing so well might stop for now, I hope that what ever they do they will continue this amazing animated show in some form. Got to love Star Wars!

While the studio is no longer producing new episodes for Cartoon Network, we’re continuing production on new Clone Wars story arcs that promise to be some of the most thrilling adventures ever seen. Stay tuned for more information on where fans can soon find this bonus content.

Star Wars The Blueprints

I have always been amazed by the universe of Star Wars, dreaming of building my very own fully armed and operational battle station. Star Wars: The Blueprints brings together for the first time more than 500 photographs and illustrations that show how the Star Wars galaxy was designed, from R2-D2 and the Cantina to the Millennium Falcon and the Death Star, accompanied by commentary by J. W. Rinzler and many of the original draftsmen who worked on the designs themselves. I have been looking to getting some of the models to display in my office either a legendary Lego piece or one of the large realistic one of the Mllennium Falcon, and this book is just a fantastic addition to the Star Wars Memorabilia.

Limited to 5,000 hand-numbered copies, this massive, oversized volume brings together for the first time more than 250 of the original blueprints created for the filming of the Star Wars saga. Drawn from deep within the Lucasfilm Archives, all-new photographs of the blueprints and images of concept design, production models, and film stills are combined with insightful commentary and new interviews. A must-have for every serious Star Wars fan!
