Nike Air Mag

I am one of those people who loves Back to the Future, I would love to get my hands on the DeLorean and keep it as a show piece if I had the money and time to put one together. I previously talked about the shoes that they released last year with the Special Edition Blu Ray but these shoes are the ones Marty McFly wore and were self tying. only 1500 of these will be made with all of the proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. People are going insane for these shoes and if you thought women were too vain about their shoes, you need to meet British rap act Tinie Tempah. In a bid to get his hands on the first pair of Nike’s limited edition, McFly-inspired Air Mag sneakers on eBay, TMZ reports that he had to fork out a whopping $37,500! The cheapest shoes start at $2000 and go all the way up to $10000 depending on your size, I would love to have these shoes, I would honestly put them on display and NEVER wear them.

Nike DeLoreans Gone in a Few Hours!

I don’t think there wasn’t a kid of the 80s who didn’t love Marty McFly! How cooler can you be then having a flying skateboard and a time traveling car with doors that flip up. I remember watching those movies vividly as a kid in the theaters in London, I loved every moment of them and I loved how funny Doc Brown was, always getting electrocuted. I ordered the 25th Anniversary BluRays as soon as they came out, and I was thinking about these shoes since it was a cool interpretation of the DeLorean. Turns out I didn’t have a chance compared to the lines of nerds who were ready and waiting for these shoes, every store from Boston, NY, Santa Monica, San Francisco, Washington, and a few others were sold out within hours. There were even some stores that were promised to receive a quantity but didn’t get anything, these shoes flew off the shelves. Within a few hours the limited stock of these shoes were gone, it seems the nerds were out to kill.

Adidas – Clima Cool

Its a line from Adidas that is meant as breathable sports wear for use during work outs and sports, and the sneakers are just as good. The best part is they are flexible, light and don’t stick no matter what. I wear them when working, and I wear them under my bike gear because its getting a bit hot these days. I have always been a fan of Adidas and their products are always of high quality, so finding this line of clothing and sneakers has been very useful and comfortable.

Climacool sneakers are the best sneakers I have bought, they are light and easy to walk in. I have had them since last year and whenever I go for long walks they are the most comfortable, even for running they are great. But if you step in a puddle the water comes right through and you can feel it. The best part is that you don’t feel your feet getting hot, or after wearing it all day your feet don’t ache. I have a flat foot so if I sear normal shoes my feet start aching after sometime but after switching to these shoes I don’t feel that anymore and I’m one very happy customer

Good Points:

  • Comfortable
  • Light
  • Breathable
  • Durable
  • Easy to Walk In

(I can’t do pull ups even if my life depended on it)

Vital – The Most Comfortable Slippers I Have Ever Worn

I don’t really go shopping for clothing too often even less for shoes, I buy something and use it for years before I get something new. I have had an issue with my sandals for the past year and after asking what is the most comfortable sandals for daily use with the dishdasha I was recommend Vital. I have had these sandals for about four years now and they were supposed to be changed at least a year back but I decided to go this week to see what I can find something new.

I found the store just opposite Office Depot in Avenues, and there were more sandals then I knew what to do with them. I knew what I didn’t want, I hate the shiny leather type, and I was looking for something that I can wear everyday and go to official functions with. I tried one grey and one brown one, and they were so amazingly comfortable, I wasn’t expecting it to be. The leather was so and the sole was perfect, it was so good I ended up buying three pairs, one brown, one medium grey and one black. I will be abusing these sandals for a while, and they were 59 KD each for a total of 177 KD, it was a bit on the expensive side but I know I will be using them for years. The leather was really soft, it was so comfortable I asked the salesman to throw the sandals I was wearing and wore one of the ones I just bought right away and walked out with a bag with two pairs, while wearing the third pair and going to buy a small original yogurt from Pinkberry.
