THE OFFICE – Has Come To An End

9 Seasons, a show that nobody thought could end, but when Michael Scott left I think a lot of people who were addicted to the, show such as myself, knew it was going to end at some point. The 75-minute episode capped nine seasons with laugh-out-loud moments and tender tributes. I for one wasn’t choked up while watching the season finale at all, no really I wasn’t, ok I was. I got really worked up about this show, it has had more of an effect then you realize. I got used to seeing The Office over the weekend, used to their episodes with Jim & Dwight getting into some crazy prank or something happening in the office and they end up not doing any work at all.

The season finale was probably one of the best season finale’s I have seen, it gave closure, it gives you a glimpse into the characters that you have loved and enjoyed for so long. I don’t want to ruin for anyone but if you enjoyed this show then you have to watch it. I want to thank my wife for getting me addicted to this show, I watch Season 1-5 one go a few years back and slowly kept watching episode to episode. They really put a huge amount of effort into the season finale, everyone cared so much, and you can genuinely tell that they were all emotional at the end, which made it even harder to watch. This show really ended on a high note, something very few shows have done in the history of television, I even remember the crappy season finale of Seinfeld, after so long you expected to end well but it didn’t but The Office, couldn’t have ended any better. You feel like you know these people, like you are saying good bye to friends that you won’t be seeing any time soon, now I want to get all The Office Bobble Heads, it was an emotional ending, lets just say that. What a show!

TV Overdose

This weekend consisted of a lot of TV time, I really didn’t move much, except when it was time to eat, I was completely and utterly lazy but I did catch up on a lot of online content and managed to work on a few Mecha/Robot Models that I had ordered a while ago.

  • White Collar – Finished up the last 6 episodes of Season 2 and the first episode of Season 3 which was impressive
  • The Event – Going through it like a marathon, this show is really good and I know NBC cancelled it but I hope that Syfy does save it, its turning out to be a very good show
  • The Office – Watched Season 2 and half way through Season 3, I can’t get enough of Michael Scott and Dwight Schrute! The Season ended so I started back from the beginning
  • The Penguins of Madagascar – ITS HILARIOUS!

About to start watching Stargate Universe and Camelot. SGU ended which saddens me since I’m a huge fan of the Stargate Series, and Camelot is the forgotten brother of The Borgia and Game Of Thrones but seems very interesting. Now there are some good shows coming up this summer, I can’t wait for Eureka and other good shows this summer.

The Office Season 7 Finale – Who’s The Boss?

On the seventh season finale of ‘The Office’ , it feels like everyone on the planet is coming to Dunder Mifflin Scranton to interview for Michael Scott’s old job. Jim Carrey, Ray Romano, Warren Buffett, Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, James Spader and Catherine Tate will all be appearing in the episode as possible replacements.

The Office Search Committee, for the man to replace Michael Scott as the boss at Dunder Mifflin. We are still guessing who the boss is going to be, and I’m one man who is happy Will Ferrel is not the new boss and it seems a lot of people will be interviewed for the role at Dunder Mifflin. The new boss won’t be known until the first episode of Season 8 in the fall season of The Office.

Dwight K. Schrute, (Acting) Manager

Dwight takes charge of the office and immediately imposes his will on the staff.

Yes it happened! At last the one thing that I thought that wouldn’t happen on this show for the past 7 years happened at last! Dwight became the manager of Dunder Mifflin, that I wasn’t expecting. I was a bit worried for the show with Will Ferrel or D’Angelo at the helm, it felt like he didn’t fit in with them. When Dwight took over I got insanely excited, he really fit perfectly it got back to its funny roots, it feels like Michael Scott is just gone on an extended vacation. I’m looking forward to the next episode or the season finale I think, what ever it may I am curious as to the course set for The Office.

The Office with Will Ferrel

Will Ferrell has committed to a four-episode arc on NBC’s comedy The Office. He will play a branch manager who comes from the home office and is just as inappropriate as Steve Carell’s Michael Scott character.

I have been following The Office for some time now and Michael Scott is a fixture in the tv show, for 7 seasons he has been one of the core characters of the show and seeing him leave the office feels very strange, it won’t be the same. I was honestly shocked that they got Will Ferrel to play his conterpart, the new manager, and I don’t know how much longer the show will continue but it seems its going to take a different path, and the other day’s episode was pretty good. Seeing the difference of these two guys was very entertaining and I’m looking forward to the few episodes left of the office.
