Radinn Electric Wakeboard

There is no question that I love wakeboarding, I honestly wish I could do it as well as some of these professionals, but I don’t even come close. This is a sport you have to keep practicing at to get better, and that takes time. Seems like there are a lot of other people that like wakeboarding, but thought of it being done in a different way, one thing is you won’t need a boat.

Its crazy to think that this is a battery operated wakeboard and the remote is in your hands. Sort of looks more like a snowboard the way it moves then a wakeboard. I would love to try this out especially that it is battery operated, meaning you can easily take it any where and since its made out of carbon fiber its a lot lighter then expected. And from the video it looks like this board is quick when it needs to be. But all of this tech in a very nice board costs around $ 20’000 which is a steep price, hopefully that number will go down a lot.

Out To Sea

The weather change has ended the biking season for some of us, a few more people are still riding but its gotten a bit too hot for my tastes. You can still ride at night but I prefer to ride during day time. And now that switch over to sea activities has begun, at the top of the some of the guy’s list is sailing but for me its wakeboarding.

This past weekend going out on the wakeboard I didn’t think that I would be able to get up so quickly but luckily the past month in the gym has showed some decent results. I was up on the board right away swinging from one side to the other and pushing my luck as much as possible. I had a few interesting moments and some even more interesting crash landings as I was trying to jump from wake to wake. After 12 pm the weather changed and the wind picked up so the water got a little bit too choppy to pull the wakeboard on, but I was happy I got in some time in the morning, seriously can’t get enough of it.

The sun was hot but the water was really cool which was perfect but it also invited other creatures, specifically jelly fish. I got stung by one as I was swimming out in the deep water, I felt a tingle before I felt the sting, I slapped it away, I’m always afraid they will stick to you and won’t let go. I didn’t have a mark or anything bad, just a red mark on the area that it hit. Still I loved the water and wakeboarding was fun, but Bnaider turns into a water highway later in the day.

Wakeboarding – Liquid Force Harley 143

I have always been a fan of Wakeboarding and I remember trying it about 5 or 6 years ago and I liked it but never had the chance to do it again until recently. This summer I would wakeboard every weekend or any chance that I got. I love the feeling of being sore the next day, feels like a real workout. I would take 10 – 15 min breaks between sessions, I had a few hard falls but I still kept trying. Last week the bindings from my Loose Unit Wakeboard ripped off the board and stuck to my friends foot as he took a fall.

So I decided to pick up a real high quality wakeboard since I’m wakeboarding almost every weekend even though the water has been a bit on the rough side. So I called and Extreme Sport in Tilal carried Liquid Force which is one of the best wakeboarding manufacturers out there, and I am far from a professional but I would I get a comfortable board which is easy to maneuver and light, that is exactly what the Liquid Force Harley 143 is, and I got the Savon Bindings with it which were overkill for me because they held on too much. These bindings are meant for smooth waters so you have complete control over your board, in my case I wanted the open toe bindings which give you that extra leeway when moving around. And in this photo session Abdulla my friend was the guinea pig, lets just say we can’t recommend this board enough.
