Safari for Windows!?!?

It seems that it has happened at last, that Apple is slowly invading the Windows realm. People with Apple have always enjoyed Safari, but now with Safari 3 it works on both Apple and Windows. Streamlined interface with full support for RSS feeds, integrated Google search, pop-up blocker, tabbed browsing, and easy-to-manage bookmarks. All for free and it loads up to twice as fast as IE 7 and 1.6 times as fast as Firefox 2. The best part of it is that its available for free. Beta version available for download from Apple.

  1. Once again… “I told you so” :-p

  2. knafa

even Mac users didn’t love safari and they use firefox instead, so how they want windows users to use it :)

  3. Letmego

    it sucks big time!!

  4. it is a BETA version.. the word beta means :

A beta version is the first version released outside the organization or community that develops the software, for the purpose of evaluation or real-world black/grey-box testing. The process of delivering a beta version to the users is called beta release.

So it’s the first version out there which is not the final version. it’s out there for testing purposes .

  5. G-Funk: looool!

Muh’d M. Mansour: Well its not for everyone

knafa: yeah, thats what I heard to!

    Laialy: hehehehe!

Letmego: the polls are coming in!

G-Funk: I think you have lost the fight to firefox!

  6. I don’t like the Safari… I tried it on my mum’s apple and it drove me mad!!! I’m happy with the Firefox!!

  7. That’s a pretty smart move by Apple. A lot of sites don’t care about Safari compatibility and tells most mac users to use Firefox. Now the tables have turned :]

  8. WOW this is quite a surprise. I wonder how it functions or if there are any added (or missed) features. Although to be honest, I usually use Firebox like most of the time and I’m happy with it.
