My 80s Movies!

I as going through the DVDs I had in my closet and these are some of the 80s movies that I really enjoyed. I do love some of these movies, some I have on DVD, but some I don’t see as worth having. But if these movies are on TV then I would sit there and watch the movie.

  • Robocop
  • Terminator
  • Pink
  • Lethal Weapon
  • Die Hard
  • Indiana Jones
  • Look Whos Talking
  • Star Wars
  • Coming To America
  • Space Balls
  • Mad Max

A guy who is just trying to enjoy life!

    Mannequin was cool too ;p

  2. Hmmnn….the list can’t feel complete without a few other golden oldies
such as, Who’s Killed the Great Chefs of Europe, Indochine, The Last Emperor and A Fish Called Wanda.

  3. Lol look who’s talkin! I loved those movies! Wow.. ;/ I think I’m going to try to get a hold of some of these great classics! Time to fill up the NAS!

Hi Marzuk, I love your site.

On the topic of movies, I was wondering if you could just give me a very quick guide on something.

I have downloaded many cartoons for my kids, but they are all on my computer and they are all .avi format. I tried converting them with various software to VCD so I can play it on my home VCD player to no success, either the quality or the sound gets wacked out.

Can you just recommend perhaps a software or a link that you use for your converting so that I can go and learn?

    Thanks in advance.

GreY: I agree! I can never forget it! lol

Mohd: Try ConvertXDVD, its a great software burns directly to DVD. That is what I use and works every time!

  8. Yeah the 80s was definitely the era of sci-fi and action movies. Nice list :)
