Review: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Harrison Ford is back and kicking as Indiana Jones, jumping in graves and beating people up. How we all remember Indiana Jones so fondly, enjoyed the movies, and wanted more. I have had the boxset since it came out a couple of years ago, so I had high expectations for this movie. From the moment you start watching it you get a complete understanding of the time they are in, and Indiana Jones has grown older you can see it and feel it, it gives an authentic feel to him. As it picks up Shia LaBeouf enters into the movie and he flows perfectly, I really liked the character he played, it added a different flavor to the movie. It was a little bit longer then it should have been but overall it was an Indiana Jones movie, the ending won’t be accepted by everyone but still a damn good movie at that.

  1. as an overall movie yes 4/5
as indiana jones,, 2 is more than what it deserve imo

i was expecting more of indiana jones

shia is my new favorite actor

  2. Hellraiser

Unfortunately, this Indiana Jones is the lamest, after so much anticipation, the movie was marred by CGI effects, nothing close to the real cliffhangers and funny moments we were used to by Indy. I just bought the Indiana Jones Chronicles volume I and II, although Harisson Ford is not in the movie, Sean Patrick Flanery, fit the role extremely well and provided the familty with over 20 hours of entertainement and education. Sorry Steven, but this is not what we have been waiting for, I think National Treasure is much more intersting. My verdict 2/5.

  3. The movie sucked…hated every second of it…EXTREMELY overhyped.

  4. I haven’t watched any on the Indiana Jones Movies :/

  5. I had read some negative reviews before I watched the film so I went expecting the worst.

    I loved it.

It was a bit long but action packed and full of adventure and wit.

Harrison was older but just as nutty and witty and adventurous as ever.

My partner thought some of the scenes (stunts) exaggerated but I loved them. That’s what it’s all about. Had me laughing uncontrollably.

The dialogue was intelligent and none of that F* this Sh* that.

And most of all, the women both in their evil and their good roles were positive models.

  7. The new movie is supposed to be the best out of the trilogy… I still say “The Temple of Doom” was the best :)

  8. Part 3 is supposed to be the best one out of the trilogy, I still think “Temple of Doom” was the best :)

  9. Not Dead Yet

Hey come on! That was a fun ride of a movie!

Anyhoo, Marzouq, r u a Kevin Smith fan? If u r, check out the teaser fot his next movie “Zak and Miri Make a Porno” at
With a title like that, u KNOW u gotta see it!

  10. Oh my … the only thing I liked about the movie was Shia LaBeouf because I have a weird crush on him…. other than that…. the ending was ultra lame… and I expected every thing that happened…. and kept going DUH!!

    Again… only good thing… Shia LeBeouf…. :)

  11. vampire: It seems to be getting a lot of mixed reviews!

Hellraiser: It seems some people were dissapted and some enjoyed it, a really varying reaction from lots of people!

    Buckeye23: Damn!

Laialy: Then it seems your better off not watching this one!

jewaira: It is exactly the same in my case, I had low expectations but I was surprised and enjoyed it!

    jewaira: loooool!

Disturbed Stranger: I would think the lost ark was the best! Which is part three!

    Disturbed Stranger: I agree!

Not Dead Yet: I will check it out!

Hamitaf La B: Everyone commended Shia in this movie fosr sure!
