I’m not one for massages but every once in a while a good foot massage does wonders. I read that a lot of muscles and nerves in the foot tie in with different muscles and organs throughout the body, and certain people with experience and skill can read it when massaging your feet.

Recently I decided to get a foot massage treatment because my feet were aching, and I found a good place while traveling. When the woman was massaging my foot she asked if my lower back was acting up recently, and it was, I kept waking up at night with my lower back stiff and killing me, so I end up not sleeping at night. She kept pushing on my foot and told me that my back will be a bit more relaxed today but I need to work on my back or else it will get worse at a later stage. She told me that I had an acid build up in my back and that I need to stretch more and soak in bath salts once a week to help. I need to reach my toes while stretching, I don’t think I can do that without pulling several muscles.

Recently I have been feeling out of shape and after this reflexology session I realized that I do need to get in shape or things are going to get much worse. But that foot massage was damn good, felt like I was walking on jello.

Economy Seat Ranking for 2009

Over the past year I have gone to some odd places, and on different airlines and I have gotten a really good experiences and some really horrible ones during traveling. Sometimes things go really wrong and sometimes it goes so smoothly your surprised. Well out of all the airlines I have ranked the economy seats based on the criteria below, and the higher the ranking the better the ratings of each but I’m going to number each but the results are below. This is of course excluding the attitude of the stewards on the plane, this is just pure seat comfort and relaxation throughout the trip. Up top is Wataniya Airways, with nice leg room, a reclining back, wide seat, and you don’t feel like you are packed into a truck like a bunch of sheeps. The worst out of the lot is Jazeera Airways, and they are just really bad, the seat is tight, I have to take my phones and wallet out my pocket to fit without feeling pressure on my legs.

Ranking Criteria:

  • Seat Comfort
  • Leg Space
  • Seat Reclining
  • Seat Width
  • Amenities

Ranking (Top to Bottom)

  • Wataniya Airlines
  • GulfAir
  • British Airways
  • Emirates Airlines
  • Royal Jordanian
  • Oman Air
  • Middle East Airlines
  • Jazeera Airways

In & Out of Dubai

Made a decision on Friday to go to Dubai for about 24 hours, it was decision on whim since a friend of mine was already there. I wanted to go check out the garage that were working on my car as well as get a bite to eat. Then there is the the idea of going to a late night movie to check out Fast & Furious, which keeps getting great reviews.

Their prices are pretty reasonable as well I found First going to Dubai and Economy returning the next day, all for the price of 120 KD which is great compared to other airlines, all of this for the ease of flying on Wataniya.
