BeoSound 8 iPod Dock

Bang & Olufsen always comes up with the most interesting products, this dock is aimed to be amazing in design and specifications. The BeoSound 8 docking station features two 70w active speakers, each including two amps within, and the speakers themselves can be changed to fit different colors. Mainly made for the iPod, iPhone, and even fits the iPad, it has a USB flot and an Auxiliary-In for other products. It sells in the UK for around $1500, I’m assuming it probably sells cheaper in the US.

Bang & Olufsen has made a very nice looking product which seems it can be wall mounted, but with them its always a hit or miss with their products with specifications or design. I want deny they make quality products but they are also insanely priced. You can buy two to three iPads for the price of that dock, and there are a lot of docks currently out. Overall I bet it will sound great, but its too expensive for a dock.

Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 4

When I see something from B&O I’m usually expecting a ridiculous price tag and this time around I wasn’t wrong. For a $112’000 you can be the owner fo the new BeoVision 4.

A 103 inch screening weighing in at 580 pounds and a base of 600 pounds with a screen that can lower itself to the floor to cover with the center with dual gas shocks. Its nothing short of insane what B&O have done with this system, they do have nice screens and equipment but the price just isn’t right, if you opt to mount your screen on the wall that alone reduces the price by $20’000. One thing B&O always gets right they tend to build some quality products and they do look good. The BeoVision 4 is built to order with a waiting period of four months, I’m assuming a structural engineer has to look if your room can take the weight of the equipment.

B&O Headphones Out

I have had these Bang & Olufsen headphones for over four years now and it seems that they have just started to act up from all the abuse over the years. They have been my riding head phones for that whole period, I never started listening to music while I ride only since getting these head phones and they have been excellent. The sound quality is very good with decent base, and very little distortion, and the clip around the ear keeps it in place. I’m thinking about trying other headphones, but I’m also thinking about buying the same pair since they are available. With the current ones my right side isn’t functioning and the left side disconnects every once in a while, so I have to find a replacement soon.
