Review: Man On A Ledge

As a police psychologist works to talk down an ex-con who is threatening to jump from a Manhattan hotel rooftop, the biggest diamond heist ever committed is in motion…

This movie turned out to be a twist with a large line up of characters, not just a man who will jump to prove his freedom but a lot more going on. I am a fan of Sam Worthington since Avatar, even after Wrath Of The Titans, he knows how to bring his character across. With so many twist and turns, and damaged characters in this movie it turned out to be even better then I expected, much better. The intensity of this movie is great, you don’t know whats going to happen next and things don’t always go smoothly which is one of the great parts of the movie sometimes things go wrong and Worthington is still try to prove his innocence. Watch It

Review: Clash of the Titans

Persious’s family is killed by the God of the Underworld, Haidees and he is left wanting revenge. Later he finds out that he is a Demi-God, half human and half Titan, but not the son of any Titan but Zeus himself. Now he must fight demons and other creatures to protect the humans as well as Olympus. Sam Worthington play Persious the son of Zeus and makes a path for his destiny to defeat Haidees. The story is a great story with a lot of interesting characters and fictional creatures, I especially like the Scorpions and the insane hunters who join them in their battle. The pace of the action keeps increasing and a great story is told, if you are remotely interested in Action/Fantasy movies then this must be seen, it was great from start to finish.

Review: Avatar

Avatar is the story of an ex-Marine who finds himself thrust into hostilities on an alien planet filled with exotic life forms. As an Avatar, a human mind in an alien body, he finds himself torn between two worlds, in a desperate fight for his own survival and that of the indigenous people.

So much build up to this movie, all I knew that I was curious to see what the hype was all about, the trailers don’t tell you much at all. We didn’t watch it in 3-D because those glasses give me a headache so we went to watch the normal movie, when booking online on ReelCinenma in Dubai Mall every theater was packed, we went for a late night movie. From the start of the movie the graphics were fantastic, better then I even imagined but that was just beginning. Jake Sully is the first marine to control the Avatars, a biological combination of human DNA and the indigenous creatures of the planet. Jumping into the planet of Pandora there is so much to see, so many different creatures, an amazing flow of scene after scene, you are mesmerized by it. For 162 minutes of the movie my eyes were stuck to the screen for the graphics isn’t the only thing that holds your attention, the depth of the story pulls you in, at every point you are surprised my something new, the story keeps developing, so many peaks that you are kept at full attention. This story must have took a long time to develop, there is so much to it, the language development, the creatures, all the scenes, and a great combination of actors, a perfect fit. My expectations were blown out of the water, and this is a movie that everyone should see.
