Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and Jimmy Kimmel in “Friends”

If you love the show Friends, then you will love this, I honestly couldn’t help myself, I always wish they get back together because the show did end on a high note and I only finished watching the last season this year so only 10 years after the show finished, and thanks to Jimmy Kimmel this episode made me smile.

The Real Husbands Of Hollywood – Must Watch

The Real Husbands Of Hollywood, a show that makes fun of reality shows in Hollywood, they just take it to another level. Made by Kevin Hart, the genius comedian, and this show is hilarious. Kevin Hart, Duane Martin, J.B. Smoove, Boris Kodjoe, Nick Cannon, and Robin Thicke all play themselves, the stars of their fields in Hollywood. These guys are a funny, seriously hilarious, the antics they pull, and they are in competition with each other, and most of them are comedians going at each other, they literally leave nothing untouched, every topic between them is open game which makes the show even funnier. And I have become a huge fan of Robin Thicke after this show, other then being a talented musician, turns out he is funny too, especially with this combination of guys. If you haven’t seen it then you are missing out, download the show and watch it if you want a laugh. This first season had 10 episodes, I just hope it was renewed by BET since this was a huge hit.

New Comedy Shows

Men At Work

Four buddies working in a magazine who go through the some ridiculous adventures. Together, the four help each other navigate work, friendship and women. This is one of the surprises of this season, the show is done and its only 10 episodes long but every episode was funnier then the other, these were very different characters in hilarious situations. Two guys are familiar actors but the other two are new to me, but they have a great dynamic, and this feels like the group of guy friends that you have so guys can very much relate to it, and women can have an outlook as to what guys think. If you are looking for a light hearted comedy then this is it.

Anger Management

Charlie Sheen is back and I have to say that he is back to his normal self but with a twist. I didn’t know what to expect from his new show but old ball player working as a psychiatrist with a bunch nut jobs is a pretty good start to his comedy. Four episodes in and I think the show is very worth watching and it will be one of the funny shows of this season. The best part are the small shots they take at 2 & A Half Men, some parts are just funny shots and some are hilarious, but they are all very subtle, and I like where its going.

The Exes

A comedy about three divorced men sharing an apartment across the hall from their female divorce attorney, who is also their landlord. This show jumps right into it, you figure out the dynamic of the group and it gets funnier every episode, each one of them is more colorful then the other and you know most of them from other shows. Kristen Johnson from 3rd Rock From The Sun, and she is the hilarious lawyer in this show, Wayne Knight is one of the divorced guys in the show, you would know him from Seinfeld or “Newman”, thats all I know him as, Newman, then there is also Donal Faison or Dr Turk from Scrubs, he is just as funny in this show, maybe a bit too gimmicky but I’m liking him in this show too.

GCB – Sadly Cancelled

One of the shows that I have recently gotten to like has just been cancelled by ABC. They had an eccentric line up of characters with a very good storyline and a funny Texas twist on the show that I really think everyone could enjoy. I know that there is no way it could get renewed in another channel, but I still think its really worth watching, they really did a fantastic job. Every episode is funnier then the other, especially the more you get to know the characters the crazier the stories seem to get. It’s still funny that they changed the name from Great Christian Bitches to Great Christian Belles, they should have kept it. Watch it even if its cancelled, its an entertaining 10 episodes.

The Walking Dead – 2nd Season

The world we knew is gone. An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept the globe causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. In a matter of months society has crumbled. In a world ruled by the dead, we are forced to finally start living.

The Second Season started just a bit slower then the first one but just as nerve racking. The show never disappoints honestly and towards the end it just keeps getting better and better as the episodes are released. This season was 13 episodes and as we got closer things got more insane, and now that I want to know whats going to happen next the season ends. And unlike a lot of other shows, they do kill off main characters here and they do change drastically so things start to take a different shape from episode to episode.

I don’t want to ruin this for anyone or mention anything that could spoil it for people. But this season is suspenseful and damn good, I can’t wait for the third season. I can’t blame so many people jumping on the Zombie band wagon, this show just did it right. If you haven’t seen Season 2 then you should, its really worth it.

Breakout Kings

Driven by the fact that there are few things more dangerous than a prisoner who has just escaped, and tired of following protocol and resorting to outdated methods of law enforcement, veteran U.S. Marshals Charlie Duchamp and Ray Zancanelli are taking an unorthodox approach to their work: using former fugitives to catch fugitives

Cons catching cons and its only episode 3 and I’m liking this show, there are few surprises that you will like thrown into the mix. Every con is different then the other and the convicts helping the US Marshalls get time off for helping them catch these cons. Its a really good show and every episode is entertaining, it also seems that there is something brewing in the background, there are more to these characters then what you see so this is one of the fun new shows this season.

Got an email last week about some sort of screening to take place about a game show, it was a pilot episode of Ken-Niz which is a treasure hunt type show across Kuwait between two teams. The people involved in the show were very enthusiastic, the meeting spot was at Plaza Starbucks, then we were taken to screening room of EVMG which is an independent production company.

They were very enthusiastic, there were other bloggers there and a few people who were there. I went Thursday around 5:00 pm, right after work so I wanted to see what this was all about.

The show was a lot of fun, it was a little rough around the edges, but independently put together by an all Kuwaiti team, including the people working on the show, the editors, producers, pretty much everyone and that really impressed me. They asked us to be brutal with the commentary, we had our comments but everyone pretty much enjoyed the show and it turns out that they made it over two years ago and it took this long to get it into full swing and it has been picked up by Al Wattan TV.

Now they are looking for participants, teams of 5, a group of 5 friends, 5 siblings, a family of 5, people who could work together to win the competition and those who win go to the next episode and more and more prizes to get with an interesting story line. Since the show has been picked up by Al Watan TV it is set to air March of 2010, I know I want to check it out and see how they plan out these treasure hunts.

Casting Call:

Date: Wednesday 18th November 2009
Time:5pm to 9 pm
Location: Bayt Lothan

The Beast = Horrible

A cop story revolving around a cop who has gone through a lot. From the first episode you can tell the attitude is simple, the end justifies the means. The show was so bad that I couldn’t complete it to the end of the episode. I didn’t think that overacting can be so bad, and I felt bad for Patrick Swayze but this show should be avoided at all costs and canceled right away.

A Lot Of Galactica

I have been watching this show nonstop for the past couple of days. There is a term they use instead of F$#& which is FRAK, they keep saying it over and over. As I was driving today to meet up with family, as usual our streets are filled with traffic so as I am trying my temper is always shorter on the road and as I was getting annoyed by people moving into the left lane driving at half the speed limit, I shout out “You Fraking Bastard”, and who said a little road rage doesn’t feel good.

Review: Reaper

Lazy kid who doesn’t really excel at anything and works at the local Work Bench, just like a Home Depot/Costco. Turns out his parents sold his soul to the Devil and now he has to work as a Bounty Hunter for the Devil and his friends get dragged into it. A bunch of guys running after escaped souls or monsters to put them back in hell. A show with an interesting storyline, and there is something brewing in the background with a lot of humor added to it. The characters make for a very interesting combination and its a very funny show really worth watching.
