Vacation @ Home

There was one point in time where I was between jobs, so I had some time off and I took full advantage of it. I remember those days, I was getting a lot of work and errands done and meeting with a lot of people for potential work and yet having a lot of time to myself. I even remember riding during the week which was a lot of fun. That was a good time, but now it seems like a distant dream.

On The Back Burner

  • Playing the Games that are in still in their wrappers
  • Watching Anime
  • Cleaning Up My Office
  • Catching Up With Movies
  • Getting Some Computer Automation Done (Syncronization Details)
  • Take A Cooking Class

Personal time is a luxury that I don’t really have, even sleep these past few weeks hasn’t been at the top of the list so there are days where I just crash, I just shutdown, even an earthquake couldn’t wake me up (I have slept through an Earthquake while traveling recently). I have been thinking about taking time off work for about a week and then telling everyone I am out of town and then just get things done at home while enjoying every moment of free time, but that probably won’t be happening. I would like nothing better then to abuse the internet I have at home, on this vacation I wouldn’t want to leave the house if possible except for Riding and food.

Swamped @ Work


The last few weeks have been a hell of a lot of work, I haven’t even had a chance to catch up the emails or the usual daily tasks. Its meeting after meeting, running around for all the different tasks, meetings in different countries, last minute confirmations. What kills about last minute confirmations is that your not sure about flights or other schedules, so you have to make quick decisions. Going to Bahrain on a last minute meeting which I have been trying to get for two weeks was hectic since I just got in the car drove to Bahrain early morning and came back for a little work at the office then home, as soon as I sat on the couch I passed out only to transfer to my bed and continue my sleep. I don’t like things piling up, I want more time during the day, even late nights at work isn’t helping to catch up. What really annoys me is seeing my RSS feeds pile up, I enjoy taking my time reading them, but reaching 1000+ is a task to bring down, and I haven’t been able to watch any shows or anime because of this. I want things to calm down a bit, I also want to pause time for 48 hours so I can catch up on normal time.

Random Day

It was a full and random day, there was a lot to do and with very little sleep I was running around doing a few things with family and friends, and then I was in a zombie state most of the day from my lack of sleep but somehow still moving along.

  • Slept at 2:30 am and woke up at 5:30 am
  • Drop off at airport around 7:30 am
  • 8:30 am At family house to say hello..
  • 9:30 am Picked up friend
  • 10:00 am Avenues
  • 10:35 am Breakfast
  • 11:25 am Went for a Shave and Cut
  • 12:45 pm Went home, we wanted to swim but the weather took a turn for the worse
  • 1:15 pm Everybody was showing up for a late lunch
  • 3:00 pm Lunch, and we were all pretty hungry
  • Watched a the 2008 MTV Movie Awards (Ironman is the best, Megan Fox is hot, Liv Tyler is hot, women love Johnny Depp, Jack Black is hilarious)
  • 3:45 pm We started watching Enemy of the State and its a damn good movie
  • 4:55 pm Went to Rihab to check out a few games
  • 5:30 pm Back Home Relaxing and fell asleep for a bit
  • 6:10 pm Watched another movie with a friend
  • 8:30 pm We went to another friends Dewaneya
  • 9:10 pm Fell asleep in Dewaneya
  • 11:20 pm Woke up and went home to continue my sleep, it was a ridiculous day

Tired and Beat

Work has been full for the past couple of weeks, and taking a two day break was good for my brain but my body does still feel a bit beat up. For some reason throughout the day my right shoulder was a bit sore and my right side just feels like its stiff for some reason. I did feel like I wanted to get a lot done but I decided to finish up one task and go to sleep early. I think I’m just in need of a good night’s sleep and some relaxation, I need to start going to the gym soon. It was even a debate between sleeping and eating, but I was even too tired to eat.

Again With The Nap

It was just one of those days, came back from work had a few things I wanted to do. I even wanted to go riding later on at night thinking its cool enough and I’m not too tired, I was wrong. After lunch I was finishing up a few tasks, reading, watching some anime. At around 6: 30 pm I fell asleep, when I was about to fall asleep I thought I would wake up in an hour or two max. I woke up around 10 pm to food on the table for dinner, and all I could think of was going to bed and passing out. Food would have been a very bad idea if I ate anything at that point, I went to bed and I woke up around 6:35 am. A total of 12 odd hours of sleep which I haven’t had a long time, I’m annoyed since I wanted to do a lot of things after work but I didn’t have a chance, but it does feel damn good to get that type of rest every once in a while.
