Plot Summary: It is the year A.D. 2307. Fossil fuels on Earth have been depleted entirely, with mankind turning to the next available power source: solar energy. During this time, 3 orbital elevators with solar power generation systems are built, each under control by the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations (formerly United States of America), the Human Reform League (Russia, China and India) and the Advanced European Union. However, not all countries are able to enjoy the benefits of this system, leading to widespread resentment and war. Arising out of the conflict, a mysterious military organization known as Celestial Being appears, dedicated to end all warfare using Mobile Suits called Gundam. This begins the stories of Gundam Meisters (pilots) Setsuna F. Seiei, Lockon Stratos, Allelujah Haptism and Tiera Erde as they are thrown into conflict between the 3 superpowers and the various other factions.
I always do enjoy the Gundam stories since they do revolve around these amazing machines. Every time I watch a Gundam anime I end up wanting to pilot one of those machines. This anime starts off a little different then all the others, this time they belong to an unknown entity which is trying to stop the war between the three powers of the globe, and this plan seemed to have been set in motion from two hundred years in the past. As usual the anime itself is spectacular, great music, and the character development is perfect for this anime. Any mecha or Gundam fan will love this version of Gundam 00, I know I did and the best part there will be a continuation of it.

So after watching Mazinkaizer and having the resin model, I watched a few episodes of Mazinger Z. I remembered the anime to be better then that, but still it brought back good memories. Since I was in Rihab I decided to pass by the Hobby Shop since I remember them having some Mazinger Z models and I really couldn’t help myself. When I saw this model I just couldn’t help myself and had to have it, I like having these unique looking models and it does give my room a very personal touch. And then there is the coolness factor that just can not be denied.
Eyeshield 21 has been an anime for American Football Players and it just keeps getting better. I was stuck on Episode 87 for the longest time waiting for a new subber to get into the picture. Until a full pack was released by torrent leech and I managed to get all the episodes up to episode 127, I have been following Eyeshield 21 for the past few years and it is going to be tough knowing that such a good anime is coming to an end. The last episode at this point is episode 145 and knowing that I’m close to the end just doesn’t feel right, it is one hell of adventure watching these guys develop as an American Football team and I want to see them keep growing, I have been watching since 2005 and now it has come to an end in 2008. I still haven’t caught up to the end of it, but its still tough knowing its going to end.

Plot Summary: In an alternate 21st century, Japan’s scientists has perfected the art of biotechnology and robotics, its benefits extending the lifespans of all humans. However, the United Nations deemed the advanced technology a dangerous threat and started strict surveillance on Japan. The government of Japan refused to abide by UN’s demands to halt research, in the year 2067 left the UN and isolated itself visually and communically. Ten years later, an American special forces unit by the name of SWORD, led by its female commander named Vexille, are sent to uncover the current status of the isolated Japan, after the country begins its plan to move. The shocking secrets they find will shock the rest of the world.
This animation picks up when Japan isolates itself from the rest of the world and they are producing the most powerful weapons. Countries don’t want to cross Japan so they play by the rules to make sure they receive the latest weapons. The SWORD team starts seeing what DAIWA (Japanese Weapons Contractor) is doing and they don’t like but they don’t have the support of their government. They go into Japan blindly only to discover something shocking. The animation is nothing short of exquisite, the music is all based on Paul Oakenfold which keeps things very fresh, the action is non-stop and you can’t help enjoying this action packed CG anime.

At this point my list of downloaded Anime is ridiculous, I have 30 – 50 complete Animes in my stockpile. It is piling up so much to the point I don’ t know where to start with new Animes since I want to watch so many but I’m spreading thin with all the different anime I’m watching. I just can’t seem to get enough of it.
Plot Summary: Tsukamoto Tenma is an ordinary 2nd year high school student who has fallen in love with one of her classmates, Karasuma Ooji. However, currently she is unable to confess her feelings to him. To make things worse, she found out that Karasuma is transferring to another school in a year. On the other hand, Tenma’s other classmate, Harima Kenji (who is a delinquent) is also in love with Tenma. Not being able to confess his feelings, Harima gets depressed day by day.
There is nothing more entertaining then a very well made story, and the story in this anime is excellent. So many funny characters, and all of them revolve around Tenma. There is a depth of character that you find with all the stories that you go through. There is a love triangle (explained here) that nobody seems to be able to figure out within the group of friends, and then there are all the great fights that is going on. I can’t seem to get enough of these hilarious fights, they start for one reason and by the time they are all done they just can’t remember why they started fighting. So much entertainment in a short anime.

There is something that I love about this picture. It is a mix of feelings when I see this picture, I love Grandizer and I love this image with Kuwait. I have been watching some old school anime, and this just brings back memories. I’m going to go through all the Mazinger series, and I completely forgot about Mazinkaiser until I found it lately. The Mazinger team suffered a great loss to Dr. Hell at the beginning of the series and Kabuto stumbles upon Mazinkaiser who manages to barely save the day. Mazinkaiser is the most powerful of all the robots, but with that power the pilot suffers great pain and if they aren’t ready they could die, so Kabuto has to develop the strength to control that machine. This shows brings back very good memories and I didn’t realize how good the series is for its time, there is some corniness to it but its still a good anime.

Plot Summary: Deunan, a young female warrior, and Briareos, a veteran cyborg-soldier, are both partners and lovers. As members of E.S.W.A.T., the elite special forces serving Olympus, they are deployed whenever trouble strikes. The two fighters find their partnership tested in a new way by the arrival of a new member to their ranks – an experimental Bioroid named Tereus.
I have been a fan of Appleseed from the original back in the 90s but they have adapted it extremely well to a CGI anime. Deunan is faced with trouble when Briareos gets hurt, she tries to take everything on herself when she is teamed with a new partner who was built with DNA tissue from Briareos. During this time humans have the capability to make humanoids and fuse cyborg parts to normal humans. They are faced with an organization or person who wants to take the world in chaos and Deunans’ and Briareos friendship is put to the test. The story line is well thought out with a few twists in it, but the magic of the whole story is the amazing CGI animation and music, they have taken it to another level which you just have to love. This isn’t for everyone but a very well made anime which will leave its mark, if you enjoy action then you will love this anime.

Plot Summary: The Empire of Britannia has invaded Japan using giant robot weapons called Knightmare Frames. Japan is now referred to as Area 11, and its people the 11’s. A Britannian who was living in Japan at the time, Lelouch, vowed to his Japanese friend Suzaku that he’d destroy Britannia. Years later, Lelouch is in high school, but regularly skips out of school to go play chess and gamble on himself. One day, he stumbles on terrorists 11’s who’ve stolen a military secret and is caught by a member of the Britannian task force sent after them, who is Suzaku. As the rest of the squad arrives, Suzaku is shot for disobeying orders, while the military secret, a young girl, gives Lelouch the power of Geass, which makes anyone obey any order. While Suzaku is secretly made the pilot of Britannia’s brand new prototype Knightmare, Lancelot, Lelouch becomes the masked Zero to lead the rebellion to destroy Britannia once and for all.
Britannia has taken over 1/3 of the Globe and only the Chinese Colony and the European Union remain is global powers, but none can much with the strength of the Britannians. There moto is simple, the strong will live and the weak will die. Lelouch has fallen victim to this motto and he lives only for his sister, they were usage as hostages in Japan and when Britannia invaded they were thought to be dead. Lelouch takes his place to get revenge against the Britannian Empire he gets the power of the Geass when accidentally meeting CC. With this power nobody can resist an order from Lelouch. This anime picks up at a very fast pace with it getting better from episode to episode, there wasn’t a single moment where you weren’t wondering how Zero was going to pull this one off, or how he was going to defeat his enemies. He sold his sole to the devil to defeat the Britannian Empire, but what is the real cost of it all. You get pulled into this show not wanting to stop, it has a lot of mechas in it but its more about the delicate relationships rather then the robots. An excellent story line with high quality animation which can be enjoyed by any person that even remotely likes anime.
