The last couple of weeks I have been too busy to download or look at anything else, the TV shows were luckily setup in a script so they automatically download and pretty much get those right away. I have a huge stockpile of Anime to last me about two years at least so I haven’t downloaded since before mid August, so I have a lot to catch up on, probably gonna take a long time for that but at least I thought to start with movies, I went back about one month and one week, with all the downloads the list added up to about 283 GB worth of movies in HD (720p 0or 1080p), the list is below of movies and some foreign movies that I enjoy.

When I was reading through ChilloutKuwait’s blog she recommended this blog as something fresh, so I thought to check it out and before even reading what it was all about I was caught up with the photographs. At first I was just looking at the photographs normally, then I noticed the little teddy bear in most of the photo’s and started reading the information, then going backwards to other posts. A project on a daily basis with Teddy as the main character doing volunteer work, connecting with people, some interesting photos, some controversial, some very nice shots all together. A really nice original twist to the photograph idea, with some really interesting projects during this whole time worth keeping an eye on, amazing story & photographs.

When Gmail first came out we only had 100MB or 500MB with our emails, and sometimes you had to pay exuberant amounts for the upgrades. Google has spoiled us with their Gmail Services, I remember when it was launched years ago when they said you would never have to delete anything ever again, they were the first with 1 GB and just kept going up exponentially for a while and then they got to about 7 GB and still more then everyone else with the easiest email system to handle and most intuitive. Now they have really gone over the top and providing paid storage for huge amount of storage for a very low amount. Storage availability from Gmail has become so large that people have written lots of tools & scripts to make use it for online storage or back up, and now because of these numbers more scripts & tools will be developed. I wouldn’t mind paying $100 per year for 400 GB of storage, that’s a lot that can be stored or shared online.

Problems:

What Happened:
I changed both the modem first and I was still facing issues, I redid the external wiring from MOC into the house and installed the best connectors and cleanest route and still faced the same issue. Then I installed the modem, configured it which got complete and it was connecting but packets were bouncing. Basically I was also going nuts not being able to access my tv shows, movies and anime, it was cutting off so it wasn’t watchable. Since the internal network was still facing problems I installed a new switch to see if that was the issue, even though it was working fine for over two years.
So replacing the modem didn’t help, replacing the switch didn’t help, rewiring the external telephone line didn’t help. So the next step was cable testing but I didn’t have the equipment, so KEMS sent their engineer to test everything out but any work was sent by an external company recommend by Kems and they did the work. We went through and tested over 23 different Cat-6 Cables on three different floors to find that issue was that with the two networks the computer face an issue with a conflict of an internal router addresses so I redid that. We tested every cable and arranged every one of them once we test each one, one by one and cleared it, one cable was causing an issue and the switch was facing an issue whenever we connected it, I’m not sure how it went bad. After 5 hours of testing and going through everything and slowly getting everything up, the machines all worked at last.
Conclusion:

I always thought about it, but never really put it all together until Google went ahead and made their dashboard that connects most of their products together. Its a very useful tool so that you can control all your settings from one location, but it made me realize how much I am using Google and how much they have stored on me, they even know where I am at any point in time because I have Google Latitude on my Blackberry. Google has made all their products free, great to use, very useful, very integrated and more. I am even trying to find ways to connect other Google services to my mobile to make even more use of them, and I am fan of the Android software. Luckily they are making these amazing products but if at any one point in time Google decides to turn hostile and take over the world, then we have pretty much lost the battle in the first place.

350 is about bring down our carbon output to that amount since its getting hotter and hotter, then there was the walk in Kuwait a few weeks back. Now there is this advertisement with models trying to depict whats the best way to convince your politicians to help with climate control. Interesting Ad, but I wouldn’t play it at work.
Cons:

I’m the type of person that really hates the smell of cigarette smoke, I detest it, I’m the guy that enforces non-smoking at work and at home and if friends are over. Sheesha is just a whole other category, and the producers of the tobacco out of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Saudi, and Kuwait are not regulated for any healthy regulations at all such as cigarette manufacturing companies, not that those are better either. Sheesha is a whole different matter all together, the smell of a sheesha makes my stomach turn, the stench at those cafe’s makes me dizzy.
There is very little research about the effects of sheesha on one’s lungs but now BBC has published some interesting information about Sheesha being more damaging to people then heavy smokers of cigarettes. High levels of carbon monoxide can lead to brain damage and unconsciousness, and that results from cigarettes and sheesha but with sheesha its a lot higher concentration from one session. People have this misconception that its safer since its being filter through the water but that isn’t really the case. Strangely these days there are more and more women smoking sheesha then before, for Lebanese, Egyptian, and Syrian women its more a norm but lately in the Gulf you see more women smoking then before which is surprising. This is even happening in Western Cities such as London, New York, Los Angles, San Francisco, San Diego, and Miami, all these new Sheesha/Hookah bars popping up all over the place even with the smoking bans in place, permits can be acquired. It isn’t nice seeing a girl smoke a sheesha, and for me seeing a girl smoke a cigarette is a huge turn off, there breath would stink afterward, and a lot of guys have the same opinion, pretty much anyone who smokes and has that smoker’s breath is disgusting, and covering it up with perfume just isn’t really working.
