Lie To Me...

After 13 episodes it was a peak of an ending, Dr. Lightmen has the ability to read people’s facial expressions and body language to tell if they are lying or telling the truth. From episode to episode each story is unique in showing how his skills manage to unravel the problems that he faces from person to person. The ending is pretty good in pointing out there will be more to come. This is one those unique shows that I think anyone will enjoy, and if you haven’t started watching it then you should.

Summer Shows...

Psych

A psychic who helps the Santa Barbara police solve murders in the goofiest of ways. This is really a funny comedy and I now have all three seasons and really worth watching, much better then The Mentalist because they keep things fresh. Shawn is the pyschic and Burton is his friend who manages to keep things together.

Kings

The United States is run by a ruling family and they are at war with their neighbors, a strange type of government body with an intriging political story. I really recommend this show, it air a couple of months back but I’m happy its airing again as a summer show with some very interesting and complex characters.

Reaper

For a light hearted comedy about Shawn who’s father sold his soul to the devil by his parents. He stuck being the errand boy of devil and collecting escaped souls for the devil, the goofy bounty hunter with a bunch of friends who know how to screw up but get the job done. All of this and they work at the WorkBench which is a store like HomeDepot.

TV Shows July 09...

After flying through a lot of TV shows over the weekend at the shalaih I have come to the conclusion that we manage to finish a lot of shows while at the shalaih. So I have downloaded more TV shows to watch at a later point and I know we will probably fly through them like we did the other shows, but this is just a small list that I have downloaded for now and I know some of them are good shows, just to add to the summer list.

  • Dollhouse Season 1
  • Eureka Season 1,2,3
  • Harpers Island Season 1
  • Mad Men Season 1,2
  • The Spectactular Spiderman Season 1,2 (Had to throw some cartoons into the combination)
The Unit...

David Palmer or Sergeant Major Blane is the reason I began watching this show, its sort of an off spring from 24 for me. After watching this show since 2006 I couldn’t believe the last episode I saw from Season 4 was the last episode, it felt like it but I couldn’t believe I still wanted more but they do leave you hanging. The Unit was a lot better for season 4 but I always did find the wives to be a bit annoying and always getting in the way, the action is non-stop though and its always interesting. If you like military type shows then this show is for you, lots of action and a great story line, too bad it had to come to an end.

How I Met Your Mother...

I don’t know how come I haven’t seen this show before, its hilarious. Ted is living with his friend Marshal and they all have their relationship issues with their girls, but that isn’t even the funnier part. Neil Patrick Harris is the funniest human being, he really makes the whole show, I really couldn’t stop laughing and he really makes the show funny and he just doesn’t stop. If you are looking for light and funny show then this is it.

Summer Shows...

There have been some interesting shows coming out this summer or just before the summer. We have had a lot of sleepless nights at the beach house watching some of the interesting shows and going on a ridiculous marathon seeing those who pass out and those who manage to stay up. Entourage and Rescue Me have started for the summer but honestly thats not what we are watching.

The Shows:

  • Royal Pains – A doc who lost his job and ends up working for rich people – Great Show
  • Weeds – Catching up with season 3, fun as usual
  • Burn Notice – Season 3 – Entertaining
  • Reaper – Season 2 – Pretty funny
  • 24 – Season 7 – The most insane season ever, I’m loving it, I’m happy I waited to watch it one go and I’m waiting to have a chance to watch it one go with my friend.
Spiderman 1978 Japan...

Who said the Japanese didn’t like Spiderman, they turned him into a hybrid of Bruce Wayne with all the gadgets and a Japanese Mecha Robo with his own giant robot to be called upon when needed. The best part of the Japanese is that they integrate robots into anything, gotta love the theme song.

T.J Hooker...

I remember watching this show when I was a kid in the late 80s, I loved the theme music and I remember the William Shatner was cool as hell back then. Sometimes I think some of the shows in the 80s were better then the recent shows, I used to follow MASH 4077th religiously. Now with the success of Star Trek the movie has caused a few people to talk about a movie version of T.J. Hooker (TV Squad). Heather Locklear looks hot in these pictures and she is still hot in my opinion.

What I want to see is another Police Academy movie, and this time around it should be done with a few good comedians and a few unknown actors to make for a very funny movie. The best part is that they have a lot to work with and they can turn the movie into anything they want, but you have to have Commandant Lassard in it.

4616 Melrose Place – Coming Back...

Seems like a lot of shows are coming back remade, and some have been successful. I’m just interested to see how successful this show is going to be or if they make it really well, but the preview is looking pretty good. One thing is for sure this show has an abundance of sex, drugs, parties, fast cars, loose women, backstabbing, affairs, and loud music. I didn’t watch the old show much except for a few times while flipping through channels when I was a kid but this time around I think I will give it a shot once its out.

Review: True Blood...

Its rare that a show with such freaky ideas such as this can come along still have some degree of reality in it. On another note the only place this show can air on is on HBO or Showtime because it would probably R or X rated for the sexual content and blood spilling all over the place. A hill billy town in Lousiana and Sookie Stackhouse is a waitress in the local bar with some very interesting characters, mainly vampires have come out into the public realm and are looking for rights just like humans. Something is a little different with Sookie, and a lot is going on in this town. At first I wasn’t too keen on the show but episode after episode, you just can’t stop watching and the way they present these interesting creatures is so very realistic that you can accept it. A show worth taking a look at and I can’t wait for the next season.
