I found this funny, it turns out this guy really hates MySpace.
Here are some of his reasons:
10. People got hurt as a direct or indirect result of the site.
9. Most of the shitty backgrounds users choose
8. The phrase “Social Networking” makes me want to punch someone in the face.
7. Shitty Music
5. I Don’t Care What Johnny Football Star is Doing (or professing to be doing) Now
4. I’m Not Interested in Online Dating
3. Each Page Takes Too Long to Load
2. Empty Communication
1. …. him being hateful
It seems he gets really worked up about MySpace, I find it funny that he took the time to explain each point in the list.

I have been trying to access engadget since yesterday but it seems like it isn’t working. I thought it was because of my internet connection, but after trying from different places. It still isn’t working for some reason, I don’t think its strange that it could go down, but for this long. I wonder what happened.

Today my host’s power went out and a few things went out with it. I was a bit surprised that I couldn’t access my site, but I tried access my dreamhost control panel and I couldn’t and always the last resort is checking Dream Host Status. This is a great thing about Dreamhost they keep you posted and even if it goes down they tell you what is going on so it is great, you are informed of what is going on and there are updates so you don’t feel totally lost.
Then later in the day my Firefox browser crashed because I 4 windows open with 78 tabs between them and I haven’t shutdown my PC for weeks so its acting a little “weird” which I find entertaining. It does a few weird things and I like finding these out. I restared Firefox and got it going again, thank you session saver, and I will restart my PC later in the week, I still feel it can keep on going.

I have been procrastinating the upgrade to WordPress 2.1, I am still on 1.something. I have this fear of everything disappearing even though I know that isn’t the case, but still its on my mind. I just wish it was easier. I know I have to disable the plug-ins, copy some files on my hd to copy back later to the server but I just have this feeling that everything will disappear! hehehe!
I need to do it soon, to sort out a few problems I have on the back end like not being able to embed video or audio files on the page, or sometimes I can’t do manual editing and from I heard it solves all the problems. I will be doing the upgrade this week, just not sure when!

My Qnet connection was down for a few hours so I didn’t have access to anything and I couldn’t check all that I wanted during the late hours of the night. And its the only time I get to chill in front of the computer to catch up on posts and read other blogs and places. I wonder what is going on, but I was having issues and my ISP DSL was showing no connection to the internet.
I performed all the regular reseting, pinging, and all kinds of steps but nothing worked. So I walked away for a while and then it came back.

I first came to find out about this in the 248am forum, and I thought it might be fun just to try it out.

Its only been a little while since Firefox was introduced and tabbed browsing was introduced with it, I kept seeing buzz words flying around about Firefox and that its going to end IE’s reign on browsing. There might have been other browsers which might have had tabbed browsing but none appealed to the masses such as Firefox has and one of its main advantages is its tabbed browsing. Even with the introduction of IE7 I still feel that its type of tabbed browsing feels slightly incomplete compared to Firefox.
I don’t even remember how I used to browse without tabbed browsing, because every time I browse I start with at least 6-9 tabs, and that is if Im starting fresh. On my desktop I have 3-4 windows open with at least 40 tabs scattered between them. I know what each one is open to even if I leave my pc for a few days and the best thing is that they have the restore capability if the PC crashes and every once in a while my PC does crash for overloading it with all the operations. I think tabbed browsing has made people more addicted to the internet because they read one thing and wait for a few others to load all in the same window and its easily to check on it. I can’t surf without tabbed browsing since tabs will pile up on the bottom, so Firefox has been one of my standard installs on any new computer even if it has IE7. Long live tabs!

Is it just me or has the internet been slow the past couple of days?
At work the internet is so slow I go away from my PC for a 5 to 10 minutes to let pages load because Im going to go nuts sitting in front of my screen waiting for things to load. It took 9 minutes to download an email with a 1MB attachment. I wanted to go to the network room and kick the routers and switches to convince them go faster.
At home I have had some issues with the speed as well, but not as much as work. It has been like this for a couple of days now and its driving me up the wall because I need information or to send an email and its slowing me down. I hope this gets resolved soon, I thought we were done with the whole fiasco during the summer.

Watching this brought back memories of old jeans jackets and the Chicago Bulls.

I don’t know about others but at this point I am getting more and more fed up with Hotmail Live. 1 out of every 200 times does the normal Live load, I usually have to go to the “Lite Version” or now they call it the “Classic Version”
I would use the normal version if it loaded! It isn’t that bad, and it does have some useful features if only it would load. The email system seems to be very heavy when you click to read emails unlike Gmail which loads as if they are light as a feather.
There are still features missing on the “Classic Version”, but they have improved since now you can select everyone on the list and delete if you want unlike before, and you have a few more useful tools. But it still feels like something isn’t working right. I currently only check my hotmail once every one to two weeks, and I only use it for orders or subscriptions so I can check it and see exactly what is going with my deliveries and keep track of things. For my day to day email I use my Gmail more then anything else. At this point I have given up on Hotmail Live improving, I never thought they could take a service and make it so unfriendly and daunting to use, they should take a look at what Yahoo did and learn from them.
For once I just want the normal Hotmail Live to load, is that too much to ask….
