I decided to try to have a productive day at home, but I fell a bit short of my goal. I haven’t looked at the house books for about four months now, so I decided to clean things up a bit. When I started going through things, its a simple process, check the reciepts, check the totals, then check the items.
I never knew how much 5 Kgs of Kubbah cost, and the price of rice and chicken went up. The tedious process took a lot longer then I thought, so by the time I wanted to head out I only managed to finish two months. The one thing I always check is the number they enter at the Co-op, and sometimes they did enter a different number so that is something to check for, these clerks always try to cheat in someway.

After a long and crappy day at work you sometimes just want to unwind and use as little brain power as possible. Left work around 5:30pm, and as soon as I got home I had some Toot and anime. Enjoying the simple day after work, I think there are some plans to do something later but for I’m just going to sit and not use my brain.

You have one of those days where you feel drained and there is still a lot to do, by 4:30 pm my brain wasn’t functioning at work and my mind was else where so I decided to leave a little earlier then usual. The only thing I had to do for the rest of the day was to visit some family, so I decided to take a nap as soon as I got home.
In my mind I wanted to take care of a few things but that wasn’t going to happen right away. So I was on my computer for about 10 minutes and knew I couldn’t stay up any longer. went to sleep around 4:45pm and woke up around 6:26 pm which was the perfect amount of sleep needed. I had to be there by 7:00pm, and the best part was that it was that the sun didn’t set yet, I get cranky if the I wake up after a nap and the sun sets.

Its what you get out of a weekend and sometimes it can make a world of a difference. Catching up with sleep sometimes can be very valuable, and that is what happened Thursday night, usually I wake up early but not this time around.
I was happy for once it wasn’t a dusty weekend, so we got to the water for the first time in a while and swimming is very refereshing with this heat. The best part after a long day is having a really good meal and finishing it off with some Baskin Robins. I wish it was cooler in Kuwait so that we could go riding during the day, I do go at night sometimes but it does get a little hot under the gear.

The best part when going to sleep is the cold bed and room, I tend to like to sleep in freezing room. After the past weeks of dust storms the A/C got a bit clogged up, called the A/C guy and it turns out a lot of the parts weren’t working and need to be replaced. Took about a week to get all the parts and I was going nuts from the my warm room. If the bed gets warm then I can’t really sleep except if I’m tired. As soon as they fixed the A/C I could sleep normally again with the room slightly below freezing, doesn’t matter whats the temperature outside, I like the room freezing cold.

I tend to use up my Moleskins over an average period of 4 to 5 months. Over the past few months I have had a tendency when stopping in either Dubai or London, I pick up a notebook or two. And now I have a good supply of different kinds of Moleskins. Even though they are now available in Kuwait, I do enjoy picking a moleskin up whenever stopping in a bookstore.

Came back from work around 6:00 pm and I wanted to do something different, I was hungry but I felt like moving a little. I thought of going to the gym but instead I decided to go for a jog in Mishref, seeing all the people walking when I’m coming back from work, I thought to myself if they can do it then I can.

I started off in the middle section and turned right, it was around 47 C which did feel as bad as I thought. Then I started a light jog, and picked up the pace. I came to realization that this is a lot harder then it looks, and I am in horrible shape. I was laughing at myself and panting, running out of breath, I had nothing to eat all day, and I was thirsty as hell. This was a crazy idea, but I thought to stick it out.
Some stats off the top of my head:
It felt good after I was done, but I needed a cold shower but the cold water ran out very quickly. I’m really out of shape and I need to get back in shape, and I’m a lot heavier then I remember.

After two months of trying I have to find a solution to the issues I’m facing at this point. I have to ISPs coming into two different networks, one servicing my day to day downloads, and surfing, the other network serves the gaming and more downloads.
The point of was to combine the network, set the parameters so that I can download, connect my server, and run a few other services that I wanted. After connecting the first ISP I was running into problems, I wasn’t able to connect to certain sites, I wasn’t sure what exactly was going on. I thought it was a DNS problem so I manually entered the DNS and that helped a bit but still running into issues. Even after plugging in the 2nd ISP I thought it would resolve itself, but that didn’t help either. After thorough testing, the ISPs weren’t the issue, it was the Netgear FVS336G Load Balancer.
I’m disappointed since even after updating the firmware, nonstop testing with both Cisco DSL Routers, I couldn’t figure out the problem with the Load Balancer. So at this point, it was a complete failure. Now I have to figure out a different solution, I was very happy with the features of the FVS336G and how user friendly it was with all the advanced features, so if I’m going to look for another hardware solution its not going to be on par for sure.

Work has been a handful the past couple of days, a lot of big things on my mind and can’t decide which one to finish first since I have to finish all of them. That aside I was that I managed to finish work in a timely manner, and run a few errands:

For the past few weeks its been nonstop 12 to 15 hour week days, things have just gotten more and more insane. There have been calm days but on a usual pace I don’t get home before 6:30 pm and a few times I have been getting home around 10:00pm. Today was a late day and I didn’t even feel like eating so at the end of the day I just wanted some watermelon to help fill my stomach and pass out. The worst part is having that consistent headache, its not a bad one buts its there towards the end of the day and until you pass out.
I don’t even have enough time to watch some anime or read a book, the moment I watch anime I pass out, and if I’m reading I wake up the next day with the book laying on me on the same page I started. I just hope things calm down after some time.
