As Mark has already posted I lost a very important bid, probably the most important thing I could ever bid on.

How events took place: (All Kuwait Time)

11:00pm Saturday night:

I get a call from my friend in California. He says a charity at Stanford University is having an auction. One of the items is to play a role (even if its for one episode or one minute) on 24 and you get a signed script from the producers of the show.

He tells me this happened last year and the person had a blast and highest it went for was $3500. After thinking about it for 3 seconds (not thinking about whether to bid or not, that was already decided, I was wondering if I would take a bullet for Jack Bauer or be shot by Jack Bauer, either way I thought it is the best thing humanely possible)

So I said sure, there was going to be an online bid first and that was pointless since it was going to start the live bid at that.

Then it was emails and he sent me the link (24 Role Bid) to the bid that went up to $7500, I said damn but I’m still not out so I raised my limit to $10’000 and went to sleep. The bid would start at 7:30am Kuwait time.

7:30am Sunday Morning:

It started, the bidding was going crazy, it kept going up increments of 200 and 400.

I raised my limit to $13’000 since it reached $11’400, I told him GO FOR IT!

Then it was between my friend, the Partner of the Aspen Ski Company, and the Wife of the CEO of Callaway Golf. It just kept going, so then I raised my limit to $16’500.

Then at the women bid $20’000 right away, and then she jumped on herself and said $21’000. It sold, and I was shocked, I lost… 10 mins after that she walked up to my friend and said, “She wants to have Jack Bauer’s babys”

I was pissed. I was ready to go overboard for this one, I was going to spend what I’m saving up for a bike to get this role! And bamn, all gone. I know some people might not approve of this but to hell with them. Its Jack Bauer, damn it all. I have a lot of things I want to say to that woman, but if I saw her I might kill her! Damn it!

Heading over to my cousins I had a couple of DVDs in my motorcycle jacket. One was Heroes Episode 17, the other was Stargate Atlantis, and the last was the first episodes of Friday Night lights.

I have to say that the last Episode of Heroes was insane since now there are new players and characters in the show which have made it that much interesting. I really wasn’t expecting it to get this much more insane, but it did and I’m loving it. I wish I had more episodes, I can’t wait to get the new episodes.

Then we started watching Friday Night Lights and I knew it was a good series, and I really enjoy football. I was expecting the series to be pretty good but it turned out even to be better. I was annoyed I only managed to burn only two episodes I should have burnt more episodes. Its one hell of a show and I love football so its a great combination, from the start there is drama and action. Also it helps that there are some hot looking girls in this show not just one so its going to be interesting.

This night I wanted to relax again, so I called my cousin and told him I burned the last two episodes of Heroes and I’m coming over, reaction on the “Right Now?!?!” my reaction “I burned Heroes, you will finish Vangaurd by the time I get there so we can watch it and Smallville, be ready or I will kick your %@^@#” and then I geared up and got on my bike. He was lucky I needed gas so he can play his precious game before I force him back down so we can finish what we started, I couldn’t get the show off my mind and I was really enjoying the ride.

We watched episodes 15 and 16 of Heroes and it was EXTREMELY worth it! Holy crap things just changed, and it was amazing. I saw so much, and so much is going on its insane! Now I need the other episodes! I love this show it just keeps getting better!

We also finished season 5 of Smallville and the ending left us hanging like usual but things got really interesting and I dont know what Clark is going to do next. All I have to say is that I never get enough of Lois Lane. And whats funny is how much they play on the combination of Red/Blue and Blue/Red in this series. I know its his colors but you notice it all over the place and I enjoy that. I’m going to be downloading season 6 to atleast know what happened, it can’t be left like that.

The best part was grubbing on some shrimp chow mein while watching tv, I didn’t really care to eat anything else, I love that crispy noodles at the bottom.

I decided that later in the afternoon I would go meet up with my cousin to catch up with some TV. I expected him to be playing some WoW: Burning Crusade, but I found him playing the new game Vanguard and I know he likes playing these types of games a lot. So I had to rip him away from the computer to get started on watching our shows. First thing we tried to figure out where we were going to get food from, but we started watching Heroes so that went out the window until we started getting hungry. So we decided on Fudruckers, and I totally forgot about it, turns out there is a small one in Dahia Abdulla Al Salem area which is pretty good.

We watched 2 Episodes of Heroes which was pretty damn good, I’m going nuts really wanting to know more but I’m happy I still have two more episodes which we will be watching over the next few days. Its getting really interestin and I want to see where things goes, this show has kept me on my toes.

Then later in the evening we were watching Smallville Season 5, we finished 5 Episodes which was the end of one disc and one whole disc, so at this point we only have four episodes left until the end of Season 5. One of the episodes on Smallville there was this little girl who could control glass and she broke my heart, I just wanted to pick her up and take her home, I couldn’t help it. She seemed so adorable and completely vulnerable! I like Clark, but she should have taken her in as his little sister! I can’t help it, she got to me!

We managed to finish a lot and then I got on my bike and had my joy ride on my way home, it was a very nice chill night.

• David Palmer (A great man who always supported Jack, and gave him the necessary power!)
• Aaron Pierce (Secret Service, protecting David Palmet and up until Season 5, a great man)

• Bill Buchanan (He was in an administrative position but always putting his neck out for Jack, so he’s got my vote!)
• Curtis Manning (Tactical Head at CTU, he helped Jack in lots of situations and he was put in some tough situations)
• Habib Marwan (He was an extremely intelligent terrorist who is the bad guy you love, he was acceptable to being Jack’s enemy)

Top Gear is an entertaining show, but I dont usually follow it. I watch it from time to time, and this episode was nothing short of a shocker. Its only a 7 minute clip but I was in shock and laughing pretty hard.

24 is by far the best and following it up is Heroes, and then Prison Break. I am enjoying Stargate Atlantis, but I know it isn’t for everyone. The next on my list to watch at the end of the season is Friday Night Lights and Studio 60. Then during the summer I will be watching this year’s season of Smallville, Family Guy, and Scrubs. I think this will completely cover my TV time. I dont want 24 or Heroes to end! At the rate Prison Break is going it has to end to stay this good!

It was one hell of a day yesterday, but I managed to finish up and then I was meeting up my cousins to watch Prison Break! It was going to be all day and all night event.

We started at 6pm and finished at 11pm. We watched Episodes 5 – 10 of season 2. I was going nuts, I wanted to see more this is becoming more and more intense! I really need to get more episodes, but I know in a few more episodes I will be caught up and then its going to be episode to episode just like 24 and Heroes, so being caught up really is annoying.

We had a good amount of Chinese food, and there were lots of chocolates because they demanded it. We had Kit Kat, Twix, Bounty, and Snickers, the only one I ate was Bounty because I love the taste. And we were watching the burned dvds through my Xbox 360 at 720p and its even clearer then the DVD player and having the Xbox 360 remote is great.

UnCrate made a fantastic post about Jack Bauer’s gear from his watch, sunglasses, knife, gun, bulletproof vest, phone, messenger bag, monocular, surefire combat, and other items.

When I saw this I had the sudden urge to do everything in my power to get everything on that list, and thanks to Mark I have the Messenger bag. I want the watch, the gun and the vest! Maybe even the glasses! I want to work for Jack Bauer damn it!

So many items yet I can’t get my hands on it!
