Today I went to work in early the morning because I had some meetings and there was a nice jumble of things that went on. I didn’t expect the whole day to be eaten up, I wanted to go in late and leave early, but because one thing pulled the other, I went in early and left late which was funny. I was running around making sure things got done.

Then we went over to burger hub for a quick bite to eat and I have to say that I think burger hub has the best burgers in Kuwait, and I love their chilli cheese fries! I really enjoy the crushed ice with the coke its nice and really hits the spot!
Then I went back to my place and some friends were coming over later. But first me and a friend had a head start so we were watching Ghost in the Shell: 2nd Gig and it just mesmerizes you! We wish we could just finish it in one sitting but I don’t think thats possible! It is just too good, and we can’t get enough! I love Tachikomas!

Then we started playing Dynasty Warriors on X-Box 360 with some very funny custom characters. We were really going at the enemies and trying to fight as fast and hard as possible, it was great. If you stop attacking they will attack you, so choose your enemies wisely! It was great, we do have strategies and really look at the map.
Then we had dinner and watched 300! It is my second time and I loved it just as much, I can’t get enough of this movie. There are a few things I want to say about it, and if you like history with a dash of imagination then this movie will satisfy you.

This was a normal site in Frankfurt especially around the main train station. Walking around places like this you just find so much to photograph, and it has a special zest to the whole place. I have to say that I enjoy train stations, I think I might traveling by train more often when traveling in Europe.
The Germans have some interesting ideas in their design, its just simple and clean. I didn’t like other areas but I liked Frankfurt’s modern industrial look. It would be nice to have an area in Kuwait which has this type of industrial look with a cleaner setup for areas such as Shuweikh.

Just before leaving for Germany I ordered some DVDs, a book, and an Access Point. To my surprise it arrived Thursday morning but due to all the work related issues I didn’t see them until I got back from work, its like a little gift to myself everytime I see a box even if I know whats in it!
I was have I got these two animes to continue watching my shows, and to finish them.
I also got the whole Tenchi Series because I want to watch it all again!
And I ordered some movies which I wanted to add to my collection:
I’m also doing a little rewiring in the house trying to get the wireless signal all over the place so I’m installing some Cat6 wiring but first I need to see if there is space in the piping, this will get interesting.

This has been a hectic couple of days and I’m just going to put it all out of my head since I need to purge my brain of all information! There is a lot of things I have to do and need to do, and the list endless, but I was happy I finished up everything!

What I wanted to do
I wanted to go home and go riding since I left early. Then come back home and have lunch while watching 24 and a ton of anime, then watching 300 later in the evening.
What I should have done
I should have had a light bite and went straight to bed for a couple of hours to adjust for all the lost rest. But nobody really does the right thing, right away.
What happenedÂ
I came back home and I was happy I called earlier to ask for lunch earlier. I asked for Muchboos Laham (Meat) for lunch with some spring rolls at 9 am for around 1pm. I got home at 2pm, so I took my chmaq off my head and stayed in my dishdasha from the day before, I was too tired to change so I just went straight to the basement to stuff myself silly.
I had a very good hearty meal, which tasted delicious by the way, and then I laid back on the long couch to watch some anime. After 20 or 30 minutes I seemed to have passed out while watching anime, so I have to watch that again. I don’t know what time I slept at that point but I woke up from an extremely painful cramp in my right calve! I was thinking “Damn what the hell happened, it feels like I was kicked right there.” It was funny but I had to let it slowly let go then stretch a bit but I still feel a small knot in my right calve, and I have been drinking water all day so I’m not sure why. I think I might need to stretch a bit.
Then later in the night I went riding over to my brothers house to chill with him and watch 300. Its great, the review will be coming soon and I can watch the movie again and again!

Right now my sleeping pattern is completely messed up, this has been one hell of a day. I still have a few meetings left for the day, but I’m still hoping I can keep on going until later in the day. I’m planning to get some sleep around 3pm or 4pm for about 3-4 hours.
I have to say that the night weather was beautiful, I had a few phone calls to make to the US and I was standing outside making them. I can’t believe that I’m still going at this, maybe because I am still on my feet that my body hasn’t completely shutdown. I think I will be sleeping to Japan’s timezone after all this.
I want to watch 24 and 300 when I wake up, I dont want to sleep too much though.

I have officially been at work for the past 24 hours and on Friday night I was there until 12:00am and I have to say that I don’t feel tired, I just feel out of there.
I still have a lot of work I have to do and I dont want to leave any loose ends. So I will keep going at this until my brain literally stops functioning. Its a strange feeling seeing the sunrise while at work. I am noticing some people that are running out of energy and I can’t blame that, they really pushing through this. Its good working with good people.
Whenever I would feel tired I would just take a quick stroll outside and continue what I was doing after a 2 minute chill outside.
I think I want some starbucks, not coffee, something cold or maybe a bite to eat. I’m thinking about going home after finishing up all the paperwork and taking a shower and then coming back to work. Then passing out later in the day.

As I was working and I saw that it was 2:48am so I had to post since its that special time in the night. I took a tylenol extra to stop the headache, and I have already had one cold pizza which was pretty good. One piece cheese pizza from pizza express. All of us are operating on low energy, the funny part is that some people are bumping music from their PCs.
One guy is asleep next to his desk, I will be waking him in another hour. Another guy is really running out of battery. I think I’m slightly halucinating, but thats just funny. I’m typing out close to a 100 pages for big tender, and I have to say that it isn’t my best work, but we are all chugging along and working together. I have had about 4-5 glasses of water up to this point.
The night weather is beautiful, I just want to stand outside, but I think I am capable of driving since I would probably pass out. So I will just keep going until the morning crowd comes in, then I will go home shower and come back. Still got a few things to finish up.

This is going to be a very long night, I’m completely out of it.
Its 12:30am and I dont think I’m going home tonight. I told them I’m not going home. There is a team of us at work, and I’m really not coherent right now, but there is something we have to do. I tried talking to the managment for the team by they are adement about it, so I won’t leave the team and there is some work to do. I told the home that I will see them in morning.
I just asked for the house key, and that its it. I have a dishdasha ready, so I’m going home in the morning to shower and come back to work. I hope this whole thing comes to an end soon.
16 hours and this will all be done, I would probably crash after work on sunday.
I was a little dizzy in the afternoon, a headache around 7pm, 9pm I was getting a bit woozy or something, dont know how to describe, since I didn’t get much sleep the night before either its not a pretty site.
We ordered some pizza and ate a bit, its now 12:44am and it feels like the night is just about to start.
And all I wanted to do today was catch up on some sleep and watch some 24 then some anime, but I think thats going to have to wait while I catch up on some sleep.

I had a feeling this was going to happen.
2:30am : Slept (slightly messed up sleep from Germany and work)
7:30am : Woke up
8:15am: Went riding
1:15am: Went to Brother’s pad for lucnh
3:20pm: Left for work
11:38pm: Got Home from work
11:50pm: Had a cheese sandwich, and I want to watch something but I’m too tired.

I got a huge headache and I have to wake up at 6:00am to be at work by 7:00am, so much damn work. This week is going to be rough!

Everytime Im driving my car or riding my bike I always keep an eye out for women driving and what they are doing. They are completely oblivious to anything in their surroundings.
Its like they drive with a real intent of killing someone, I dont think if someone wants to kill you they can do any worse then the way some women drive. I was almost taken out this Friday by a woman on the cell phone who was in the middle lane wanting to make a right. We were on Damascus street, and she wanted to exit into Surra while talking on the phone. I was directly on her right, not behind her in a blindspot, but relatively forward so that her side view mirror was directly on my left. She started leaning quickly and I looked at her and she wasn’t even looking, she was just mouthing off on her phone.
When she turned hard right hard I tried getting away but I couldn’t since there was a car in front of me with no opening, I had to break hard and try to cut right. I took the corner extremely hard, I tried break as much as possible before going into the exit. I dropped from 100 Km/h down to 50 Km/h (the whole time she was still on my left) and took a 90 degree turn which I would usually do going 25-30 Km/h. I was stuck between two cars taking the turn and my extincts made me dip hard and pushout quick going at 50 Km/h. She didn’t notice me until we were into the turn and she still didn’t do anything. SHE WAS STILL TALKING! I knew I was going to run into women like that in Kuwait but not like this. Hamdilla I was lucky enough to be able to react, also if I wasn’t on this bike I don’t think I could have taken the corner like I did with it. I dropped extremely low and went in really fast.
I turned to look at her, and my heart was beating at 1’000’000 Beats per second. She didn’t give it a second thought, she didn’t even apologize she just gave me a dirty look and drove off. I was pissed! I was happy I was able to narrowly escape. Why was I not surprised that she was muhajabah, this isn’t my first incident with women muhajabaat driving in Kuwait, its always like that and they don’t pay attention to the world around them. This all took place while I was on my way to work at 3:45pm on a Friday afternoon.
I’ve had some close calls, but this is this was the closest in Kuwait.
