Review: Las Vegas...

An entertaining show from beginning to end, I loved this show from the first time I saw it air in 2003 until ending in 2008. It had a great run and I’m surprised it ended so abruptly, a show about a Las Vegas Casino and its entertaining staff, to live a life day to day in Vegas. A lot of people wonder how its like to live in Vegas and its glamor, so no wonder this show was such a success. The best part about this show is that you can literally watch any episode and be entertained. There is the theme to the story and the back story which you have to keep in mind sometimes but most of the time its just a great episode with so many dynamic characters. I was surprised they ended it so abruptly, they leave you at the end with more questions then answers, I didn’t even have these questions while watching the show but the last 2 episodes were a roller coaster. I really recommend this show to people since its very entertaining and never really gets old.

Catching Up On Downloads...

Nobody realizes how old Sylvester Stalone is, but knowing when these movies were realesed the guy was pretty good. Who doesn’t enjoy watching Rambo or Rocky every once in a while, and if you don’t get pumped up after watching the movie then there is something wrong with you!

  • Rocky 1976 720p
  • Rocky 2 1979 720p
  • Rocky 3 1982 720p
  • Rocky 4 1985 720p
  • Rocky 5 1990 720p
  • Rocky Baboa 2006 720p

I had a few shows to catch up with since I didn’t download them consistently. And I have been looking for Fresh Prince of Bel Air for a while now, and now that I have it I know I’m going to watch it all over again, and Carlton was the best dancer in the show.

  • Family Guy Seasons 1 – 6
  • American Dad Season 1 – 3
  • Transformers Animated Seasons 1 – 2
  • Fresh Prince of Bel Air Seasons 1 – 4
  • South Park Seasons 1 – 11
Melrose Place Coming Back...

Due to the huge success of the 90210 remake it seems the studios are now thinking about bringing back some other shows, and one which has been green lighted is Melrose Place! I remember watching this show on and off when I was a kid, it was a complex story of relationships which I didn’t get but even as a kid I knew that some of these women were hot. This is when I remember falling for Heather Locklear even though I’m not a blonde type of guy. There were a lot of hot women in this show and nobody realized it back then, things have really changed for the TV industry for the past decade and half. Who even remembers Alyssa Milano on that show, and she was hot back then and ridiculously hot now. Who even knew that Kristin Davis from Sex & The City was originally from Melrose Place. That show had a number of hot women, and the men were only tools of those women, I keep reiterating the fact that they are hot but it still isn’t enough. I wonder which cast they would pick for the remake, because they have to be very mean and scheming as well as good looking just like the original women.

The Beast = Horrible...

A cop story revolving around a cop who has gone through a lot. From the first episode you can tell the attitude is simple, the end justifies the means. The show was so bad that I couldn’t complete it to the end of the episode. I didn’t think that overacting can be so bad, and I felt bad for Patrick Swayze but this show should be avoided at all costs and canceled right away.

24 Season 7...

CTU is no longer there, Jack Bauer is getting grilled by the congressional committee, a new president came into office, and there is a new threat to be dealt with. The FBI pulls Jack Bauer out to help with their crisis and from the beginning of the show things come in fast and hard. Its Jack Bauer vs. Tony Almeda, its a lot more complicated then that. Everyone is in for a treat this season, it has been nothing short of insane, and you have to watch 24: Redemption to understand all that is going on, its all connected. I think they want a huge bang for this season, I’m just happy knowing there are two more seasons after this one, for a start of season 7 and just seeing the first 5 hours its nothing short of insane.

24: Redemption...

Jack has left the US and now ended up in Africa to keep his freedom. It has been too long not to see Jack in action, there was a feeling of nostalgia and hope when seeing this man. He just wants his freedom after serving his country and making the ultimate sacrifice, but not he wants to keep the only thing he has left which is his freedom. Without his knowledge he somehow gets dragged into something even bigger then before, and even helping these orphans get away from the tyrant has some times to his future. Now just to wait for Season 7 to start on January 11th with a 2 hr or 4 hr premiere.

24 Season 7...

I have been waiting for a while now for Jack Bauer to come back on screen. It has been too long and now I just saw the preview to Season 7 and its nuts. CTU has been disbanded and under investigation, Tony Almeda is the bad guy, and you can only see 17 minutes of the preview which gets you going. I don’t know what to expect from this season, all I know is from the rumors and they said this is going to be the best season yet. Its a new fresh cast with just a few familiar faces, but it does look like an interesting cast, I wonder who is the president this time around.

24 – Trailer – Nov 23...

Its been too long since 24, and now Jack Bauer is back. The two hour premiere is called redemption and its a completely different playing field.

TV Shows 09/08...

There are a lot of TV shows out for this season, and this is just a small round up of the new shows and the ones that I’m watching.

New Shows:

  • Sons of Anarchy – Biker show with some interesting story, I like how it is.
  • 90210 – The new Beverly Hills show, it has some promise and from the first episode there is a lot of interesting drama. This time around all the kids are super rich with a lot of drama going on with some connection to the past 90210, The Peach Pit is still around, so its worth a watch.
  • True Blood – Vampires in a hilly billy situation wanting rights, a bit odd.
  • The Mentalist – A bit like House but a crime version of it, and for the first episode its pretty damn good. I think this is going to be a good one. A very smart man who just makes the right observations and goes with it, trying to track down a serial killer. There is an air of humor to the show which I like.
  • Worst Week – A really funny show for the first episode, I really couldn’t help myself laughing at all that was going on
  • Knight Rider – I tried, and I just couldn’t.

What I’m Watching:

  • BattleStar Galactica – Amazing Show
  • Shark – Just can’t get enough of this show
  • Dexter – Still on season 2, watching too many other shows but fantastic
  • Burn Notice – I love this show, just finished season 2
  • Smallville – Its back and kicking again
  • Gossip Girl – They are back and up to it again
  • Heroes – It has been worth the wait, now for more episodes
  • The Big Bang Theory – I love how funny these guys are.
  • Weeds -  Still in Season 2 and it just keeps getting better

Other Mentions:

  • Reaper – When it starts up again I’m going to follow it.
  • Chuck -  Funny as usual
