I don’t know what to say about this show, I stopped from finishing season 1 of Gossip Girl because I just didn’t to see the end of it. And lucky for me I caught up with all of it and watched the begin of season 2. I don’t know there is something about this show that gets to me. Maybe because I’m a sentimental idiot, and I think every man can relate to Dan Humphry to a degree, some more then others. I’m head over heals for Serena Van Der Woodsen. It was genius for them to take season 2 to the Hamptons, gives a different flavor to it.Â

I have been watching this show nonstop for the past couple of days. There is a term they use instead of F$#& which is FRAK, they keep saying it over and over. As I was driving today to meet up with family, as usual our streets are filled with traffic so as I am trying my temper is always shorter on the road and as I was getting annoyed by people moving into the left lane driving at half the speed limit, I shout out “You Fraking Bastard”, and who said a little road rage doesn’t feel good.Â

I always knew that this show was really good but until I started it I didn’t know what I was missing. If you have any inclination towards sci-fi then this series for you. I finished season1 and the miniseries within a few days and I’m already on season 2. The storyline is great and the characters are nothing short of fantastic. I’m enjoying every episode, I just wish I had more time to watch more episodes.

The new season is upon us and all the new shows start this September. I’m enjoyin g these shows and I’m still catching up with Weeds and BattleStar Gallactica which are fantastic shows. I just start BattleStar Galactica last week and it is a fantastic show, I have all of it in 720p so I am enjoying it. This is going to be a great season since hopefully they won’t be any strikes and the shows can pick up their stories again.
What I’m Watching:

A series that was collaborated by HBO and BBC, a 4 episode series made to reenact the life and death of Saddam. I heard about the show from a few people so I decided to watch it. This show brought out old feelings of hatred that I remembered when I was a kid, I knew what was going on at the time during the Gulf War but it was frustrating that you are young and can’t do anything to help. The show isn’t 100% accurate and when they were showing Kuwait it was very lacking but still overall this is show must be watched. I had this feeling of not being able to watch it because of the anger that was swelling up inside as well as happy I’m watching it, Saddam was their leader and he was insane, and at that time I don’t know how afraid I would have been to stand in front of him in his prime and many thought that way, he was a monster. A different show worth watching, don’t want to say anymore just in case I might spoil it.

Lazy kid who doesn’t really excel at anything and works at the local Work Bench, just like a Home Depot/Costco. Turns out his parents sold his soul to the Devil and now he has to work as a Bounty Hunter for the Devil and his friends get dragged into it. A bunch of guys running after escaped souls or monsters to put them back in hell. A show with an interesting storyline, and there is something brewing in the background with a lot of humor added to it. The characters make for a very interesting combination and its a very funny show really worth watching.

People are always interested by the job of spies, but what do they do after their job is done or not. A spy doesn’t get fired, they get a burn notice. Michael Westin is that spy and he ends up in Miami, stuck in his situation trying to figure out who burned him, and he has only a trigger happy ex-girlfriend and an old drunk friend to help him out. As he is trying to figure out who burned him, he takes care of a few odd missions here and there to make some money and help people out. Action packed episodes in Miami, good music, and an interesting story line. A fresh show that keeps you on your toes and entertained at every turn, really worth watching, the first season was very good and now the second season is starting.

I have had this series for over two years and really didn’t feel compelled to start it, and now I regret not seeing it earlier. In less then a month and half I went through all four season of Enterprise, from season to season it just got better and better. Captain Archer (Scott Bakula) is the best captain of any Star Trek series I have seen, he was a developing Captain, from idealist to having made decisions that changed his outlook.

The full crew of the Star Ship pulls you in, Trip the Chief Engineer with his wit and his stubbornness to give up, T’Pol with her Vulcan Logic and her acceptance of human ways, Leutinant Reed the stiff Tactical Officer who found himself more and more attached to his captain, Dr. Flox one of the most interesting characters of the ship and a Doctor who lived by his ethics and took care of his patients, Hoshi the communications officer who had knack for figuring out other languages, and Ensim Mayweather who piloted the ship like no other.
There were parts when the show kept you on your toes, you could see the development of Star Fleet and how many of details of future of Star Fleet in these missions. The best part was hearing the hints such as “This is the beginning of The Final Frontier” or “I wonder whats going to happen with the Next Generation”, “To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before”. The last episode left me with a feeling of nostalgia, it felt strange to hear the voice of Captain Jean Luc Pecard, it felt good, something was right about this. Who ever said that this is the worst series of Star Trek was completely wrong, this shows the development of Star Fleet and the Federation, how things came together, this show ended on the right note but I wish there was more.

It has been for a little over month since I started Star Trek Enterprise and it has just gotten better and better. Scott Bakula plays an excellent captain on the Star Ship Enterprise. He has that air to him, and this cast of Enterprise are little different then past Star Treks. I enjoyed Season 1, flew through Season 2, and kept going in Season 3. The show is damn good, it also helps that Commander T’pol is a very hot Vulcan if I have ever seen one.

I can’t believe they cancelled the show at the end of Season 4. I just started Season 4 and I know its going to be good, I just hope they gave us a conclusive ending. I have lost a lot of sleep watching this show and I enjoyed every minute. I think my longest Enterprise marathon was 16 hours.

The best thing when you come home is when you get a package you aren’t expecting. I ordered these t-shirts a few weeks ago and I forgot about the order since it was taking some time. I came back home to find this fedex package which is all in soft packaging.

I remembered what it was and ripped it open to find the cool Jack Bauer t-shirts. To say that I was smiling is an understatement, the first thing I would do is wash the shirts before wearing them.
