Why:

I was cleaning my ears with the ear buds after taking a shower, but I pushed a little too far in. So I felt a weird feeling and stopped what I was doing hoping it would go away. I just felt this uncomfortable feeling around my left ear. So I went about my day and everything was good. The next day I went swimming in the pool and everything seemed to be ok. At one point I went under water and tried to go deep, and when I did that I suddenly felt as if somebody kicked me in the head. I couldnt move because of the pain in my head while I was under water. I was about two meters under water, and I felt as I couldnt move. I knew at that point I need to get up. So I did, and I could feel the pain in the left side of my head and around my left jawline. My family was around the house and I didnt want to bother them so I just said I was tired, because it showed that something was wrong but I didnt want anyone to worry. I went to my room and didnt see anything coming out of my ear, and I could still hear from both ears, but I was worried. And I asked my family if they knew a good ear doctor and I asked my friends. Next day my friend got back to me and told me Dr.Abdulmohsin Jafar is a good doctor that his mother went to before and some other members of his family. So I decided to go.

Waiting Room:

So I found out that he is open from 11am to 1pm and 4:30pm to 8:30pm at a private clinic in She’ib. I came into the waiting room which isnt too big, but there are comfotable leather seats, not too soft but better then the plastic seats in hospitals. About 13 seats in total and there were four people before me. There is no appointments. Its a first come first serve basis, and it did go as first come first serve with no problems. I got there 4:45pm but I didnt get to see the doctor until 6pm. I had to pay a first time registration fee of 20 KD which was fine with me. There is water located in the waiting room, tv, and some magazines, but your better off bringing your own reading material.

Doctor Meeting:

When I went in the doctor was very nice, and he is scruffy look. He is a bit short and greying hair, but a young guy. Very nice attitude when talking to him. He was educated in Canada and certified in the UK and the US. So he is fluent in arabic and english. His english is american, so anyone can go to him. We went to the examination room, and he put a long tube in my right ear to see the healthy ear and then from there he looked at the left ear. I told him everything I did and what happened with the swimming. He told me my ear drum isnt damaged at all, the left one was just irritated. But the pain was caused because the I push the wax down to the inner tube and it expanded under pressure from swimming. That is what causing the pain, but the pain in my jaw line might be because of an infection. He told me he usually puts a liquid to help shrink the wax, and tells the patient to come the next day. But he will try helping me now, and if he cant he will put a liquid and I should come the next day. He proceeded to do what he does, and I felt some pain which he told me I will, and he was talking me through it. And he explained to me everything he was doing. And I was extremely happy he helped me and got everything cleared. I lost my balance for about 3 mins which he told me would happen. I felt the pain decrease dramatically! Just a little pain left, but at least I could think with a clear head. I would recommend anyone with any ear problems to go to this doctor!! And I paid another 20 KD for the consultation thats it. I would have paid anything to make the pain go away!

Dr. Jafar is an Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist. He also performs Facial Plastic Surgery, but not at his clinic. He performs the surgery at Muwasaat hospital or Al Haady Hospital. In the waiting there were 4 girls who had nose jobs, but I dont know if they look good or not, because they had their face completely covered so I couldnt judge his work. But everyone seemed to be happy with the doctor’s work form this point of view.

He is in a building which is extremely easy to get to. He is in She’ib. Go on fahaheel Express way keep Qadsiya Club on your left, and Sheikh Sa’ads house on your right, and the first right after the bridge after Qadsiya club its the first building on your left. You really cant miss it. And its a first come first serve basis.

There is a motorcycle meet at TriStar motorcycle in the city at 8:45pm tonight. And there is going to be ride to somebody’s house or something for an invitation. Im going and I hope whoever wants to go can go. At least take a look at motorcycles. I bet there will be a number of BMW motorcycles and a lot of Ducatis! Look for me if your going to be there. Im going to take my camera and take a lot of pictures. TriStar Motorcycles is opposite Khaleejeya complex (Qnet) you cant miss it, it will be coming up on your left if you come down fahaheel expressway. My first meet since I never had a chance to go before!

I am sitting here in my office having one of those quick meetings with people in and out of the office. Catching up with work and so on. But recently over the past couple of days birds seem to love my window or they are delirious from the heat. Im not sure which!

Im sitting here and then suddenly a bird comes flying into my window, and he gets back up and starts pecking at the window. I feel sorry for these birds, and the windows are reflective to keep some heat out. Maybe its because of the reflectiveness of the windows, but it has happened too often. Twice on sunday and once on monday! I feel for these birds, but some of them act real funny after each visit! And yesterday was a pegion which looked like he had a screw or two loose. Adventures to continue!

Just got back to Kuwait after a being gone for a month for some medical check ups, and making sure my mother relaxs a bit after all the check-ups. When I left it was hot in Kuwait and now its even hotter!!
I was so jet lagged when I got back from all this traveling. I was at work at 7:30am! Which means I get to leave early! Got a lot to write about from visiting my friends in the Bay Area to visiting New York City for the first time in eight years. I have to say this was an interesting trip. Got a lot pictures too, which im going to post!

When I got into work, I had a choice of any parking spot which was fun for once. And when I checked my email I had 52 new emails, and 192 junk mail. Which isnt too bad. I was only replying to the urgent ones when I was abroad! It was a bit hard coordinating work, trying to get some sleep, and waking up in the morning for appointments.

I managed to visit some family over the weekend since I came on wednesday. And I slept really early two days in a row, but I went to the shalaih friday morning! And we went to Garoo Island which was amazing! I wish I brought my camera, but I forgot it at home! On another note I drove my landcruiser all the way to Al-Zoor while the Gasoline was set at empty! I wanted to test it out, and I knew everything was going to be ok since the landcruiser has two tanks. But it lasted the whole way, about 70kms! on Empty! Which is pretty damn good! Im really impressed! I think Toyota makes the most durable cars in the world!

And now I shall continue my work and all the emails I have to reply to!

Things have gotten crazy the past couple of days! I havent even had much time to surf online or just do random things at work! I know im supposed to be productive, but things have gotten hectic the past couple of days! I didnt go home until 8:30pm last night! Thats nuts! I have been freaking exhausted the past week! And not getting much sleep, and still with the family obligations! I know there is going to be one of those days where im just going to pass the hell out!

I want to watch some anime! And play video games! The worst thing is going out to job sites and getting the car when its hot as hell!

Thursday

On thursday morning the weather was so nice, and I left work early! I knew I had to get out! The weather was too nice to stay inside! And for once it wasnt scorching hot or sand storms like the past couple of days! For once it was slightly cool! 29.5C! So I finished up work, got the cost estimations done, check on the equipment.. I knew I could sneak out and hopefully nobody would call me!! Home free! TIME TO RIDE! hehehe

I got home got my phone, wallet, mp3 player, and went to the basement to gear up! I was so pumped up because I havent had a chance like this to ride for a while! And because it was the first weekend to have decent weather it seemed like half the streets were empty! Thank god! I can enjoy myself!

I went to the gas station and here is me in my gear! So those who see can find me! The indian guys were cool enough to take two pics of me on the bike! And I gave him a tip! 1.200KD for gas.. tip 0.500 KD .. pictures priceless! hehehe

AT LAST!! The weather the past couple of days has been horrible! The sand storms and muddy rain! I know it sarayaat season! But damn! Im so happy that the weather has gotten better!

Yesterday going around to a job site in Sabhaan:

The rain yesterday took down all the sand in the air! And it also cooled the day a bit! I was driving around with the windows down! And it was so nice and I didnt have a lot of work at the desk, and a few work sites to visit so I decided to leave the office early! hehehe here are some pics with me rolling around!

you can see in this picture a dunkin doughnuts on the left on the gulf road between the third ring road and salmiya! Im not sure if its open, but I just saw that its there! Couldnt get a better picture! I was driving! lol

Nice days put me in a damn good mood! I wish its always like this! And not scorching hot! lol

I hate when I drive into a traffic jam and I didnt take the short cut through the other blocks! I go nuts! I know sombody did something stupid! And I want to know who so I can slap them upside the head! So they know that they are stupid! When there is traffic in Kuwait sombody always does something to make it worse! I want to kill somebody!!! aahhhhhh!!! Im happy Im driving a manual, because I can make the nose of the landcruiser jump up! As if its going to land on the back of your car!! hehehehe! I have a case of road rage when Im driving in shitty situations! lol! But it was following after a little while!

This is the reason for the traffic jam! Why the hell dont they move the car! Tow trucks take so god damn long to arrive in Kuwait! I go nuts!  They should’ve removed the car to help traffic move! Asap!

So I came back after work and decided to wash my bike and clean it up a bit! I went for a little joy ride before going to work and it got a little dusty! lol! So Im pretty happy the way it is.. and I just parked in the sun for about 10 mins and its dry. So Im posting some before and after pictures! And if you continue at the bottom there are some more pics. I ordered these parts from Wunderlich in Germany. They are quality Carbon Fiber products and they are solid. They look very nice, and feel nice. They arent like cheap carbon fiber and I think it looks good on the bike! The funny part is I was ordering from a Germen catalogue so I had a possibility of ordering the wrong part! And I only ordered one wrong part! lol! Thank you TriStar Service Department for the clean install! Here are the pics!

The reason I name my bike Robo is because if RoboCop would ever ride a bike it would be this bike!! Sometimes when Im looking at it I think Robo is going to talk to me, and transform into human form! Just like a Transformer!
