So tuesday night after Turn by Turn i thought I was going to pass out, but I kept tossing and turning until 3 am, and even at 4 am I thought I might get some sleep, but nothing. So I got up and got me some pineapple that I saw in the fridge and sat on my computer at 4:30am on Wednesday. I decided to finish up some work emails early in the morning because I wasnt sure how my head was going to be early in the day. I dont know when exactly my body will want to sleep, but I wasnt feeling tired.
So after a few emails I started watching some anime, and then time was flying bye. I watched about two hours worth of anime and I was enjoying myself! It was a nice start to a wednesday. Took a shower got to work around 7:15am, and I thought everything was going to go smoothly today. And a few meetings and a lot of paperwork finished up I left work and went home. The family was home, and I could hear my nephew! Then I went over to him, and he smiles when he sees me. I know Im feeling a bit tired, but I wanted to play with him! hehehe! I had lunch then I passed out in the living room where everyone was sitting down. My mother told me that I didnt move at all, and I nothing was waking me up (I failed to mention to them that I didnt sleep all night, but I decided to leave that out). Then I woke up to my nephew lightly drumming my head while my mother was holding him. I smile and then he smiles then he goes “Dai Daiiiiii” and continues with his drumming! I think he likes my shaved head! hehehe! I got up went to Hawalli, and picked up a few DVDs because the guys were coming over at night!
I didnt know if I would last that long on two hours! The guys came, we ate, watched a movie, and relaxed! It was perfect! Didnt think I would be able to hold out for the day, but I did! I didnt go to sleep until 2am. Fun Wednesday, and its the beginning of a long weekend, but I still have work on thursday! So two days is still better then one!
The Following Took place between 8am and 12am.
8:00am
Out the door, flying to get to a meeting in Shuweikh while systematically navigating through traffic.
9:06am
The power at the office in Shuweikh went out, and it was getting hot quick, and I was out and about in the sun to come back into a little oven. But the power came back on around 10:10am so that was solved.
11:17am
Back at the main office I finished up a lot of work and wanted to post on my blog. Turns out my host was having some problems so I was unable to access my blog, turns out my host in the US was having problems of their own. So I thought I would leave things be until later.
1:20pm
Power went out at the main office, I called the Shuweikh office and they told me nothing was wrong with them. So I kept working on some paperwork. I was happy the UPS kept the servers running long enough that I could shut them down without any incident. No Bird flew into my window but I kept an eye out for one.
4:00pm
Arrived home to play with nephew and relax with family. I had that headache from having been in cold and hot areas all day with a lot work to do. I like going one stretch no lunch break so I can leave early if I can. Today was too bad towards the end of the day. As we were eating the PUFT.. silence again. Just like what some people have been going through. We continued our lunch laughing, and it was mentioned that suddenly it felt hot and it was only a few minutes after that.
4:25pm
Finished up eating and I needed to get some sleep. The electricity was still out. So I decided to take a nap since I probably needed for family night tonight. I was asleep after a little bit but an hour later I noticed the power kick back on and kept sleeping.
6:43pm
I woke up and washed up, I felt better after not getting enough sleep during the night. I went over to help change my nephew, he kept kicked and giggling which made me laugh. And I noticed that the Internet was down, tried calling Qnet and nobody would answer. And I just decide after all this to let it come on when it comes on.
8:05pm
Some cousins started arriving, and we were all sat down started talking to each other. We were discussing the power problems, and the Qnet problem. Nothing was completely clear, but something is going on in the background. Steps need to be taken find out what is happening, who is in control. Conspiracy theories were being put together, plans were being implemented people were contact.

I should crash.
Through out this whole episode of a day I was in constant contact with Tony Almeda, Cloe, and Jack Bauer.

Came home, got a bite to eat. Then suddenly everything went out. I thought that the fuse blew, because I switched on too many things. But it never did that before. And the first thought I had that I didnt have anything on that I needed to save. So I was happy about that. So I got up went over to the fuse box, and everything was point to the right (meaning they were on), so I played around with it a bit, but nothing happen. So I asked if the electricity was out for the whole house they said yes. I called my neighbor on his cell phone, and he was laughing, because he was wondering the same thing as I was calling. Turns out the electricity was out for the area. Then I heard of Nuzha being out as well as Shuweikh, and Rawdah, but at different times yesterday.
The house was still cool, but there was this eerie silence that I never heard before. I was just trying to listen and see if I could here anything, but nothing. It was strange. So I sat down to use the computer again, and not realized there is no electricity. So I picked up my book and magazine went to the living room to chill with my mother, and she was just laughing at me. For the first 5 minutes I was roaming the halls not sure exactly what to do. Because just before the power went out I wanted to play with my PS2. hehehe. I felt very cut off, it is very apparent how electronically dependent I am. I wont deny it! I love electronics, but who isnt these days. Then I realized how much battery I had on my phone, and thinking worst comes to worst I can charge it in my car. I was walking around and thinking what I have running on electricity, but everything seemed fine to me. I just made sure to switch off everything so when the power comes back on it wouldnt be an overload and something burns out. The other thing I was thinking was that the house will get hot after a while, so it was kind of funny sitting in the room with highest chance to get hot. There were other delimas developing in the house, but nothing too crazy. It was just funny though. Then I realized I had my PSP! So I ran over, popped in a new game that I have been too lazy to play, and then bam.. the battery is dead. So my mom laughed at me again, she said she will switch off the electricity one hour a day to see what I do! hehehe
An hour an a half later the electricity came back on, and the first thought that came to my head is INTERNET! hehehehe! But everything went along from there, and the house didnt get that hot. But this is the first time electricity hit us for the summer unlike some of our family when it them at least 7 times this summer and for longer periods.
You know when you have one of those nights where you keep tossing and turning, and you cant fall asleep. No matter what you tried. I just had one of those nights. By 1am, I thought I should be asleep, but a few more minutes on the laptop, so at 1:30am I switched off the laptop tried to sleep, but I looked at my watch and it already 2:12am. I still kept trying, but by 3:15am I thought that I was screwed and might not get up for work. But if I was going to get much sleep let me at least enjoy myself, so I sit down and watch some anime. So around 4:25am I felt sleepy, and I was thinking to myself today is going to be a roung day.
I woke up at 7am, showered and went off to work. I thought I was going to feel dead tired from the get go. But I felt fine and awake. Got work things got going, and you get that light headache. The one you know its from lack of sleep. Going to be a long day. Probably take a long name when I get home.
And its humid as hell outside! I stepped outside, and my sunglasses became all fogged up, I couldnt see. Its really humid, and Im wondering how hot today is going to be. I feel sorry for people who wear glasses to see! And whats worse is that A/C at work isnt functioning properly, I think the humidity is getting to it!
So Im heading over to my cousins place to watch a movie and chill with him since he was gone for the past month.
So I wanted to visit him after work on thursday, got home chilled for a bit, and I decided to head over. I got on the sixth ring road and decided to take the airport road there. And so I was going about 160 kph cruising down the road without any traffic, there was only a little on the right since it was 4:15pm. So then I saw the camera as I was coming up, then it flashed and I was laughing behind my helmet and dark visor!
If the cameras are working now they are going to have a lot of pictures of me! In gear! hehehe! Then I went over he was still jet lagged, and I we watched a couple of movies which I will be slightly commenting on. We popped in Alone in the Dark for the hell of it, it was the second movie we were watching and I have to say I give it a 0 out of 5 but with tara I give it -1! Seriously! Horrible! How did they even get money to fund this story! I wanted to break the dvd by the time it was done, but we popped in something else to improve what we were watching.
Then he was passing out, and I decided to go home early. And it was a nice chill ride hope, I had a police man come up on me because I think he was racing someone, but then I just took off because I know the cop was being a dumb and racing his friend. And I was right they were two guys racing each other, it only happens in Kuwait. I like chill weekends.
You know when you have those long work days for the week, and you drained everyday and dont feel like moving. This was one of those weeks. But Im pretty glad last night all the guys got together at my place and we were watching some drifting videos that my friend got. It was pretty funny it was US vs. Japan in drifting, and of course the Japanese guys won! Then they did a race on a racetrack in Japan between five very different cars; an M3 CSL, a 911 Carrera S, a Lamborgini Gialliardo, an M5, and fixed up GT-R. These Japanese guys are damn good, and the old school driver who was driving the M5 got it drifting out some corners like it was nothing! We were all caught up each one shouting for a specific car! It was fun as hell!
Then we started grubbing, popped in a movie and relaxed. Everyone was pretty much burnt out from this work week. But it seems nobody knew that next saturday the 26th is a holiday. So everyone was asking if you want to go here or there, or somewhere else. It was one of those good nights.
When you have one of those mornings, and you have to wake up early to finish up some work but you feel heavey as hell! My brain says get up, but my body is just not reacting! But somehow I drag myself out of bed to take a shower and get going.
But I was wondering who else does this. I switch off the boiler back in the beginning of June. It was too damn hot outside let alone switch on the boiler. So now if I want hot water I set the water temperature to cool and it becomes hot within seconds! Seriously better then any boiler I’ve had before. And if I want to cool water I switch it to hot, and I get the water that is inside the boiler and its pretty damn cool! It hits the spot perfectly!
But you know your tired when even after a good shower you feel dazed slightly! (I wish that was my shower! hehehe)
I’ve been running around all morning, going from meeting to meeting. I usually just drink water because I want something. Everyone insists on tea when I would rather just have some cold water! I have to say that everyone is hospitable from that point of view.
Then I feel the hunger creep up on me! And a few blogs that I read through this morning have mentioned food a few times from Pizza on No3iks blog to Indian food on CyberRowdys blog. So now Im hungry as well, and I have to go to another meeting!
Icecream would hit the spot right now! I usually get hungry around 1pm, but sometimes earlier if Im running around. And today Im hungry!
And I think a Hot Dog would hit the spot! A Chilli Dog is exactly what would hit the spot!
I got a call in the morning just as I was getting up, it was a family thing. And finished with that early. Then I headed over to work to finish up a lot of paperwork! And things have gotten more and more piled up by the minute! On the way here I looked down and found that my sun glasses lost one side of it!
It was damn sunny outside and I couldnt wear the damn sunglasses! But I decided to wear since it was so sunny, even though it was lopsided! Now Im pissed that my glasses broke! its one of those glasses which have a spring to the arms so its not exactly attached! So it might have flown off this morning, I knew I heard something but I wasnt sure what it was!
Time to look for new sun glass, and I hate the huge BUG EYED sunglasses that everyone wears!
We had a good time there! We shot a couple of different guns! I shot the .45 caliber and it was damn fun!
My friend shot a .40 Caliber and it was revolver with one hell of kick to it, with a sensitive trigger! It felt wanted to jump out of his hand! The .45 Caliber was different, you need to squeeze it all the way to let out the bullet! It was fun as hell! And it felt like a scene from Letal Weapon! The .40 Caliber was so damn loud that even with the ear muffs on I was going deaf! It cost me 5 KD and him 4 KD for 20 bullets each, and you can let the other person shoot no problem.
After finishing our round we went to the rifle range, and we picked the 5.56 Caliber gun because they were out o fthe 7.62. And these Sniper Rifles are damn accurate! I shooting them! 20 KD for 40 bullets between the two of us. And we got there with a lot of people taking shots. Which was fun watching them. When I shoot, I shoot really fast. It takes me 5 mins to shoot 10 bullets. But its maybe because Im used to that Rifle! The funny part is before coming to the this range I’ve never shot any gun before. We spent about an hour and a half there, and we could have been there longer but one of our friends wanted to leave.

I think this is a good place to enjoy yourself! And the crazy part is seeing the girls that shoot! Some girls love to shoot!
