I’m not sure how I’m still up and still operating! I went to bed last night at 12:00am thinking I would get a good nights sleep, but I tried for the life of me to go to sleep but I didn’t go to sleep until 6:00am and I woke up from a phone call from a coworker at 8:15am, I went into work an hour late which isn’t too bad but I’m surprised I even got up.

Then I thought I would probably go to sleep when I get back from work but that hasn’t happened yet either, so I’m assuming I’m going ot be crashing at the end of the night. Sleeping real well. I’m just not sure whats wrong with my sleeping patterns, somehow I will fix it!

This has been an interesting weekend, real slow and chill which isn’ too bad.

Thursday:

Work was a bit hectic but got done then I went for the haircut after that, chilled at home for a while it was nice. Then I went out with my friend a bit, but I would have prefered to stay at home to watch some movies. I passed by my grandmothers place which was nice, but there was a lot of traffic on the way back home. I chilled in the basement for a while after that!

Friday:

I couldn’t get up, I was exhausted, it was nice sleeping in for once, I wanted to ride but nothing could have woken me up except for one thing. My nephew walked in and I woke up immediatly, but it was still hard to drag myself out of hell. And then visiting the family later in the night. I wanted to go riding but I didn’t have a chance, I will at a later point this week.

This is the first Stereo that I bought from Sony back in 1993 when the Chicago Bulls were winning the NBA championships, Kid N Play were making movies, and I was playing and listening to NBA Jam. I remember buying this Stereo from the old Sony Store in Old Salmiya when it was the only store, and I was so happy I had this stereo. Two tape decks, three CDs, and the works. I couldn’t be happier, but now its 2007 and thats why I like Sony. It lasted over 15 years before it broke which is pretty good. And my nephew loves hitting the eject button on the tape deck and making it go back in which is very entertaining for him.

What is going wrong:

• If you tried to go forward in tracks it would go forward two or jump back one.
• If you turn the volume in either direction it might go up or down based on what it feels like.
• For the final part, the tape deck won’t close on one side so its pretty much reached the end

The speakers are still good though and I have my stereo that I brought with me from the states which is pretty good.

I usually go to work on my bike on thursdays but due to some meetings I had to be in formal wear which I didn’t mind. I was looking forward to riding though, so I worked as fast and effecient as possibel to finish up and head out of there. I had an appointment at the barber at 1:00pm and I left work at 12:25pm so I was flying home. I changed from dishdasha to jeans in 1min 22seconds, and then down stairs to get my gear on. That took me about two minutes, and then I was on the bike and flying, I left home at 12:45pm.

I had to fly to the barber, I don’t like being late for appointments and I especially hate being late for the barber. Its just something that I need to be on time. I was flying on the bike like a demon out of hell. I had my wits about me, but it was fun and thrilling. I wasn’t riding safe and I knew that, but I was riding hard. I passed a couple of bikes who caught up to me at the Showbiz light and they wanted to jump off the line and they said I looked like a red blur to them. I told them I’m in a hurry and they can jump off the line in they want. At that point I think the testosterone levels were high and I took off, I didn’t notice that my front wheel wasn’t on the ground until a few seconds later, and seconds felt like minutes. And I could see their lights behind which gave me a bit of satisfaction but I saw the time was 12:59pm, so I went even faster at that point. I made it to the barber at 1:03pm and he was just done with his last customer. I was happy I made it, even though I was a few minutes late, and then I realized how fast I was going and that I was a demon on the bike today. I enjoyed every insane minute of it.

Then I got the relaxing shave that I have been waiting for, and after the shave I was riding pretty mellow since I had a nice cool breeze where I just shaved. Shaving my head 5 minutes, shaving my scruffy beard 18 minutes, the clean feeling after I was done… priceless.

At night we were sitting outside for a couple of hours, it was nice. It was pleasent and we had some nice seating outside and comfortable, it felt very soothing even with the sound of cars coming by it was nice being outside with the smell of fresh air. The pool water was a little cold, but it looked really nice and I just wanted to jump into it wearing my dishdasha, but I try keeping my senses about me. I really wanted to jump in though, it was warm and it looked nice.

I have had this weird hearache from yesterday, I took a nap and I felt better but it was still there. Really strange, I’m not sure from what, it was just looming over my head for the rest of night. I don’t know why it wouldn’t go away, then the pain would start at my neck and go up to my head. I didn’t want to take anything, I know was being stubborn but that always seemed to be the case. I had a light dinner, but it still didn’t help that much. I took two tylenols before going to sleep and that helped a bit.

I woke up in the morning with the headache and I even tried dragging myself from bed and I just couldn’t seem to get up and go. After a little while I got up and the shower helped, but I was driving slow because of it. And now at work I took two Advils to clear my head, it got a bit better but I still don’t know whats the reason. I need a vacation, but where exactly I’m not sure.

After all this time, this is the longest time I have ever had a pair of sunglasses and I was very happy with them. I can’t even remember the brand, but it seems that I have lost it forever. I lost it on Tuesday but I just thought I misplaced it and last time I thought I had it was when I was stopping by a starbucks picking up something to drink in the afternoon. I searched for it at work, in the meeting rooms, in my car, I checked the starbucks, and I even searched everywhere in the house but I can’t find it.

I really don’t like shopping for sunglasses, and I enjoyed the one I had. I picked it up from LA in 2005 but now I have to find another one. I don’t know when to go, but all I know is Alamiyah for glasses. I think I will be without glasses for a while because I’m so damn lazy to get new ones.

At this point I have been got some shocking news that two guys I know very well havie tied the knot! I was surprised since it was two guys that didn’t even hint that they were settling down, and one guy seemed like he would never settle down. I’m honestly happy for both of them, but like anyone who just gets engaged they won’t answer their phones or it was always call waiting!

With one guy I was the last to find out and I grilled him for it. And another guy I got through to him today and he was saying everyone is surprised since it wasn’t expected. Now the ratio is tilting towards those who have spouse, and the single ones are dwindiling down in numbers. Its a good occasion and I’m happy for these two guys, they are good guys.

Now we shall see how they are in their soon married lives. Its interesting seeing how people change when they are married especially guys since they have different responsibilities and have other duties unlike before. I think too many other guys take pleasure driving them nuts.

What a day, my body feels completely beaten and I need some rest!

• 8:00am – 6:30pm at work
• 7:00pm – 8:00pm at Milchah
• 8:20pm – 9:45pm at My Cousins Dewaneyah
• 10:15pm – I got home because of traffic it took some time and I’m dead tired!

Got a few things to read up on and maybe a business trip at the end of the weak. I got a whole lot on my schedule, but I know I’m forgetting something I should probably not some of these things down.

This was a relaxing weekend but I didn’t get much sleep over the past couple of days. I have been up late watching anime most of the time! The weather was acting up and we were having multiple seasons all in one day.

Wednesday:

Relaxed with the guys, had a laugh and we got to watch two important things:

• 24 Episode 16
• The Unit (Its turning out to be a good show)
• And a movie!
• The grub was good!

Thursday:

Got drenched from the Hurricane, and I had lunch at my Uncle’s pad which was fun, and then I went home to start a lockdown in the basement! I haven’t watched that much anime one go in a long time!

I started at 7pm and watched:

• Desert Punk
• Planetes
• Guyver TV

and some computing and gaming in between.

I ended up going to sleep at 6:30am since I wasn’t sure if it was going to rain or not.

Friday:

I woke up at 11:20am and I saw that it was sunny, so I showered up and headed out on the bike! I was going to have lunch at my brother’s place at 2:00pm.

When I got to my brothers place I saw my nephew and that was really nice! And I saw my niece and she is growing up! She is only a few months old and adorable! After lunch though I passed out on their couch for about an hour and a bit. It was nice! After then I got up and continued riding for a bit! Then I went home to watch some anime.

Then I watched 24 episode 17 which was insane! Things have just gone overboard!!! I have no clue what Jack is going to do next! Its going to be an insane over the next coming episodes!

We also watched The Unit which is pretty interesting!
