For some reason or another my adapter wasn’t working so I haven’t been able to post or reply on my blog! Its really strange, it was working in Kuwait, at the Kuwait Airport, at Frankfurt Airport, but not at the hotel in Hannover. I was going nuts, it ran out of power and I thought I would just charge it, but for everything I did, it just didn’t work.

Its only working now because I kept trying different parts of the adapter and trying to connect different parts slowly seeing if it lights up. At this point my laptop is charging but I won’t move the power adapter for the rest of the trip. I will remove my laptop but I won’t move the power adapter at all. Now back to posting, too much to talk about.

I was informed about two weeks ago that I would be going to Germany for CeBIT is a IT & electronics convention that takes place in Hannover Germany every year. Its every vendor from every possible region in one spot. I heard its huge and there is a lot to cover, its going to be interesting.

I have a lot of work at work that I wish I was here to finish, but I’m going with my boss to the convention so its going to be interesting. I will be taking a ton of pictures.

There is a lot to cover and there will be a lot of traveling, I will be going this evening on Lufthanse, and connecting in Frankfurt to Hanover. I’m assuming everyone will be there.

So While I was at work I set my PC to compile a lot of Episodes of Friday Night Lights to burn so I can watch at my cousins house. By the time I got home it was perfect all that was needed was to burn them on DVD which takes 5 minutes each. I have episodes 3-10 burnt onto 4 DVDs.

All was great, by the time I got home work I had lunch while watching Episode 13 of 24 and it was insane! I really wasn’t expecting things to go that way. I love it when the stories slowly start tying together then something insane happens the course changes, and Jack Bauer is kicking ass left right and center!

Then I head over to my cousin on the bike, and since I didn’t have anywhere to put the DVDs I put it in my back pocket. I was riding for bit before I got there.

We started off with Friday Night Lights and everything was great, and as the show progressed there was some deterioration of the quality. Then we decided to order some 31 Baskin Robbins. As we were trying out the other DVDs, it turned out because it was in my back pocket they were rubbing against each other, I was chuckling about it and my cousin wanted to beat me like a Mexixan pinata! But we managed to watch and understand most of everything but we had to skip 3 episodes of FNL which were completely incomprehensible.

It was a funny night, then I road home completely tired and sleepy since I was passing out at my cousins house!

Nelly Furtado – Loose

I really do enjoy Nelly Furtado’s songs, and this CD was nothing short of fantastic, so many good beats and I love her voice and how she adapts her singing to the beat of the song. Timbaland did a good job working on the songs with Nelly.

Akon – Konvicted

I always like Akon, but I didn’t expect such a good CD from him and a lot of the songs are different then the mainstream hip hop songs. Its something you can listen to in the background and enjoy .

Rihanna – A Girl Like Me

I really like Rihanna’s style and especially the song “We Ride” which is a chill song and just gives a good feeling. I can keep listening to her CD non-stop because it has a great mix of fast and slow beats.

Ciarra – The Evolution

Ciarra has come up with a pretty good compilation of songs which different then what I expected from her. There is the hip hop beats which she can songt to and a few slow songs that she has down too.

Pretty Ricky – The Late Night Special

I have always found Pretty Ricky to be fun and this is just one of their fun CDs to enjoy. Good beats that you will keep bumping in your car for a while!

Gwen Stefanie – Sweet Escape

Those who like Gwen will like this is CD, the one word that comes to mind when I’m listening to this CD is Funky. Different beats which are addictive, another good one from Gwen.

It was really a funny night we started off watching Voltron from episode one and in the beginning it was only me and friend so while we were watching more and more people were getting caught up with the show. Everything reminded each one of us of the old days, but we only watched two episodes before switching over to 24 for a bit. Then I made everyone remain silent for the entire session of the show. I only managed to watch one episode, but its gotten insane, I dont know whats going to happen to Jack now!!

Then we had Muchboos Chicken for dinner, chicken pie, spring rolls, and sambusak. I went for the chicken with lights amount of rice, I’m also very slow in eating while everyone else was finished up. Then we started a movie which we all found funny, the other part is that once the movie was done the conversation got stirred to work and cars. Back and forth with funny stories and things that happened during the day, but I could tell we were all tired. Just happy I still have another episode of 24!

Its been one hectic week, one thing after the other and sleeping at odd times. Catching up with work and trying to take care of all the other things has drained me, but I will relax this weekend since I will be traveling for work on late Friday night for work as well.

I want to keep things simple this weekend, and use my brain as less as possible this weekend. I will also be eating when necessary, I haven’t felt this exhausted in a while that it has kept me from riding.

I was at the Smart Building Expo at the Movenpick, and I had a presentation which was supposed to be at 11:30am, but because everyone always runs over schedule and so I didn’t present until 1:30pm and I was pretty tired by then. I had to come into work at 6:45am to finish a few things up at work before heading over the Expo. I was sitting on the panel for the presentation for over 3 hours before my time to present came, and I have to say that I went a little to quick, but I was tired at that point and I made a note to myself. Next time I will do better, and I need to slow down a bit. It wasn’t too bad there were about 70 people in the conference and the presentations was pretty interesting, but there was which was horrible and killed the crowd.

I went home after the first session of the Expo to get some rest, I was exhausted from the past couple of days. After lunch and sitting with my family for a bit I passed out.

Quick Nap:

6:00pm to 9:00pm

And if my nephew didn’t come in and walk up to me while I was on the bed then I wouldn’t have woken up. I’m still exhausted but still lots of work left.

I have this tendency not to delete text messages, I’m not sure why but sometimes I remember what was going on when reading the text messages and I laugh, but my list got so long it took a long while to go through them.

After an hour of going through them and deleting the ones which were useless I got down to 323 text message which is pretty decent compared to before and you can go through them. Some people automatically delete messages, I usually can’t do that right away for some reason. And some text messages are too funny to delete.

I have been in need of Key Chains for both the bike and the Landcruiser and I was thinking about what I wanted since I’m not a huge fan of keys chains. Then I had this genius I idea to get a 24 key chain, and I think I’m getting a couple of it since it costs between $1.99 to $7.95 which is pretty reasonable. Its simple and will do the job, and I love 24 so these will do the job.

I really wanted this phone and after seeing it I decided to get it. W880i is one slim phone with a great interface. I really do enjoy the Sony Ericsson interface and its extremelly light. I got it for 185 KD and I have to say its worth it because its so damn light. I usually wait on a phone and don’t get the first version but this is one hell of phone and I just hope it doesn’t show any issues with time, but I think that is asking a lot.
