I’m a huge fan of Transfomers, and I’m dying to see the new movie! And now that they are releasing the new toys I want to get my hands on them as well. Optimus does look a little different, but I just can’t help but love these guys!
I always wanted to have one of those cools offices with toys and cools objects in them. I always thought of people with funky offices to be really creative, and that is always the case. I have always wanted to make something that people would enjoy!
I decided that Friday evening I will be visiting family, so Thursday night me and friend decided to get together after work and do a few things we wanted to do! Play some games, watch anime, and eat some food.
We played 2.5 hours of Dynasty Warrios and it was one hell of an up hill battle! It was insane and good, we really put a lot of tactics into Dynasty Warrios 5, and we were up to our necks in battles. We had to choose our fight and figure out how to take out an enemy who was more powerful then us, but we only had him in front of us, but on his side he had to worry about three fronts. We did a great job, and we are building our army, trying to play it safe as well as build up defenses. After a while of thise we decided to start the anime series we wanted to finish.
Started Ghost in the Shell: 2nd GIG at 8pm and we finished two discs by 11pm, I passed out a bit but he would wake me up and I would wake him up. We were on a mission. We want to finish the whole series soon, and I have all the episodes. So it was a good night, since we really got into the story figured things out.
Work was a quite hectic today, I was driving from one place to the other. I literally was forgetting things I wanted to cover and I had a lot on my mind. My work load today was about an 8.5 out of 10 a usual day would be a 6.5 out of 10 which means I was busy but I had some breathing room. Today was a lot but the only thing on my mind was that my nephew was leaving us today and he was going back to his mom and dad. He made me look forward to going home everyday! Even tuesday when I passed out for a few hours I would wake up every few minutes to seeing coming up to me and then running away. He gave life to our home, and on Wednesday I picked him up and just carried him for a while and he just put his head on my shoulder, I honestly wanted to freeze the moment, he was awake and just facing the tv when I sat down in the living and my mother saw he was still awake. He just stayed like that for a while, I didn’t want him to go anywhere but I knew he had to go back to his mother since she left the hospital after little stay.
After he left I wanted to organize my room a little and I saw the pile of magazines, and I started putting some on the ground but I came to the realization that it would be impossible to go through these magazines since I really had to choose and so I put everything back and went out to Hawally to pick up some movies.
It was funny who showed up at night, and we did have a good time with two good movies and some good food. I also got in a round of Dynasty Warriors 5, since its on Hard it isn’t easy at all. This is going to be an interesting weekend, and a lot of people are traveling for the up coming holiday. I’m just hoping to chill this weekend, I’m planning to finish a lot of anime this weekend!
I tried trying the bike for a little while but my clutch was just off, I contacted Tristar and they came to my home and picked up the bike! Now thats service, I’m crossing my fingers hopefully they can get it sorted out tomorrow! I’m really hoping so because I want to ride without clutch issues, and I want to ride this weekend.
I hope everyone is going to have a good day today! I’m hoping that couples enjoy their day, and it is a pleasant day overall for everyone.
Its funny but a lot of the guys who are married are bailing out this Wednesday from our usual get together, and I did drive them nuts about it. I’m just hoping couples do have a good day and do something or have something planned. I think that this is a good day to just do something for your spouse!
I might be making some plans with my bike because I have some parts coming in to make the modifications I have in mind. Its going to be an interesting day, I’m curious to hear what others have done.
Nifty features and nice look and feel to it, but it does bog down even the high systems because like any new windows system it requires a lot of resources to show how nice things can be. People are slowly discovering holes here and there, but that was to expected for something of this size. I think that Vista is a good thing, but it needs to be tweaked and adjusted.
I don’t recommend to upgrading to Vista yet because a lot of hardware and software have yet to work properly with the system. It isn’t as seemless as you have been used to with Windows XP. A lot of drivers for Hardware isn’t available yet and they are working on it, but its still annoying that a piece of hardware can’t work with the specific system. The Ready Boost features for Vista does make a difference for application launch with computers that have 512MB to 1GB of Ram, but the affect is miniscul when a PC has 2GB Ram.
People seem to be confused about the different versions of Vista and what are the drawbacks of each and what would satisfy their needs. And there is a workaround for buying the Windows Vista Upgrade instead of the full version. Vista has a lot to juggle over the next couple of months but it will be a little clearer and more stable towards the summer and the first major patch will probably on offer in Q3 or Q4 of 07 since they got a head start on it.
I think I’m going to install it on my media pc to try it out since there isn’t anything on it that I really need, and I have a few things in mind to replace the media pc and its dedicated for streaming HD quality video and audio to my screen. I’m honestly looking forward to the install and all the problems that way I know what is going to happen, just like experimenting with XP back in the day.
It seems this week is just going to be a busy week, and I dont mind at all. I was on my feet today between meetings and handling things and then with family. I just zipping from one place to the other! Its pretty funny, as long as I have good music I’m in a good mood.
It was great seeing my nephew and he had lunch with us which was pretty funny! I was feeding vegetable spring rolls because he saw me eating them and kept pointing at them. It was nice, then I took him to visit his mom, from there I kept going to my aunt’s house and then to my grand mothers house. I was chilling with family for a bit, and then there was no one to pick up my nephew from a little get together he was invited to and he was getting tired so I took off from the house flying like a demon to get to him! I kept picturing him being cranky so I was flying as fast as I could and to say that I was aggressive on the road is an understatement, as soon as I got there I knocked on the door and I asked for him saying I’m the uncle and gave a look which said “GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY” hehehehe.. When I saw him I was much calmer and he stuck his hands out to me to take him so I did! What can I say, I have a sweet spot for the little guy! I got him into his seat and we were off! As soon as we got him they were putting him to sleep since it was late.
After settling down a bit I decided to have a sandwich so I decided on a labnah, with za’atar, and olives on lebanese bread and a lemonade! That really hit the spot! I’m just keeping things in mind what I have tasks to finish up at work as well as family I want to visit!
I’m planning to reallllyyyyy chill this weekend! It will consist of Heroes, Smallville, Prison Break, Anime, and Dynasty Warriors 5 ( I really want to finish it now!! on Hard!)
I ordered the Vibez back around January 22nd and it just arrived yesterday. It took a while to get to Kuwait due to Aramex’s slow turn around time. I was just happy to get it at last. Late in the day I opened up the box and saw the Vibez box, I really liked the packaging of the Vibez. It came a USB connection, headphones, an audio connection, a cloth to clean it, and the battery is removable like a phone which is pretty cool.
Its pretty small for a 12GB mp3 player, I expected to be bigger, but I’m happy that its this small and the screen is really bright and thats great. I really like the scroll wheel on the Vibez for then an iPob, it feels like you can do a lot with it and I like that. I piling up the music soon, I just have to find the time later.
Well since the great news of having a new niece added to our little family I have been taking much of a break, and I was busy entertaining my nephew yesterday and then sitting with my mom. Then I had to get up early for work, I kept running around at that time as well just to make sure I finish up with work, but I didn’t finish up everything.
I got home washed my face and took my mother and nephew to the hospital to visit my brother and his wife. There were other people their but I was just watching my nephew interacting with the other kids, but the first time he saw his mother in bed he started crying. I can’t blame the little kid, he just knew something was up poor kid. Then when he saw the little baby he was just staring at her, it was cute, he didn’t know what to do. She looks all squishy still, and I don’t know who she looks like because thats all everyone keeps asking. Then there were a lot of women as to be expected but I was busy with my nephew and I was zoning out a bit since my head felt a bit light. I needed a bite to eat. I didn’t have anything to eat since the day before at 7:00pm, all I had all day was water and some tea. I needed sustanance!
After a little while we decided to head home, and I really don’t say much, I just waited because everyone was saying their good byes. When I got home I was playing with my nephew again until they made his dinner, and a little while after that they put our dinner, it was 8:00pm and I was so hungry I was going to chew through anything that was coming close to my mouth. And my nephew bit my finger and damn he can bite, it really hurt! hehehe!
What a day, I feel really drained, but happy. This isn’t going to be the easiet week, but I am happy as hell and I know my brother is probably going through a lot more then me. I just hope he gets some rest and I hope his wife rests up too.
Need to finish up work early tomorrow!
I have stopped at different Co-ops over the last three weeks, and I have been searching for this gum and for the life of me I can’t find it! They keep telling me its sold out or they don’t have it! I couldn’t find it at Sultan Center, Yarmouk Co-op, Mishref Co-op, Dhahia Abdulla Al-Salem Co-op, Khaldiya Co-op, and De’eya Co-op. The only place I managed to find it is at a random baqalah in the Shuweikh Industrial Area! I was so happy I found it that I had four in the same day, I couldn’t get enough of the taste! Now I’m keeping the box with me at all times!
I have been procrastinating the upgrade to WordPress 2.1, I am still on 1.something. I have this fear of everything disappearing even though I know that isn’t the case, but still its on my mind. I just wish it was easier. I know I have to disable the plug-ins, copy some files on my hd to copy back later to the server but I just have this feeling that everything will disappear! hehehe!
I need to do it soon, to sort out a few problems I have on the back end like not being able to embed video or audio files on the page, or sometimes I can’t do manual editing and from I heard it solves all the problems. I will be doing the upgrade this week, just not sure when!
